not sure if this is intentional or not, but some things i noticed: 1. besides beginning and ending with want you gone, the rest of the song alternates between what glados is thinking internally (don't say goodbye, don't say goodbye, exile vilify) and what she wants you to think she thinks (you wouldn't know, still alive, you wouldn't know/still alive). 2. the song seems to slowly progress into the future until returning to the present with want you gone at the end. i know that still alive is from the first game and therefore technically the first, but the song was originally written considering that chell escaped t the end of portal 1 (which has since been edited) and that's why it still sounds like a "post-departure" song. so interesting!
You know i really wish Wheatley had his own ending song. That insted of "Want you gone" there was something like "Farewell Apple": In which Wheatley express his regret but at the same time he mostly make himself look like the victim. Still, Want you gone is still perfect.
Masterpiece, Portal is one of the most emotional franchises ANY game company has ever produced and yet it masks itself with funny robots and a British accent. Not a game, an experience
Portal 2's ost holds enormous emotional value to me, and I must say, you truly did justice to the magnificence of the the ost. Thanks for giving me chills and making me want to go through the incredible experience that this game is. You did an insane job, and thank you so much for giving us that beautiful remix.

I feel like it'd be cool if maybe in the next story Half-Life and Portal crossed paths in a profound way, like GLaDOS meeting the Resistance, and Gordon helping her defend against a Combine attack, and she assists them in their mission to utilize the Borealis, they save science together, and put their differences aside.
Mmm maybe: *Still* Alive *Don't* Say Goodbye *Want* You Gone *Exile* Vilify *You* Wouldn't Know This makes more sense than "*Still don't want you*" after you here all of them

Yep, I’ve noticed this too, I find GLaDOS as a character/person so fascinating.
There's something really haunting about the lyrics cutting out for a bit after "except the ones who are dead".
