    Solid heat....really like that old school looking turquoise/white car. I've never seen a car get bent like that did and still keep going. THAT WAS AWESOME! :D Whoever did the paint on the compact wagon #114 and the pink one...those are great.

    Why would anyone destroy a classic Mustang? What a shame.

    A lot of whining about that 65 Mustang. ...people it’s only a straight six...not worth it to restore. I own a 65 GT Fastback.

    • @xxwolfiegamesxx1253
      @xxwolfiegamesxx1253 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just because it may be a straight 6 doesn't necessarily mean it's not worth it to restore.

    I'm not a huge ford fan but I must say that mustang deserved a better future than being destroyed unless it was already falling apart already lol

      The Mustang had to been really rusty underneath. Leaf spring mounts broke off early. Then his hits didn't have much oomph. He definitely had a slider driveshaft. Give him credit for burying it with dignity instead of straight to a crusher.

      From what I read, this car was basically only good for the ID tag and VIN to be used in a reproduction body, due to rust issues. Yes, it could have been restored, but it would most likely be less expensive to start with a reproduction body.

    Good action. Amazing how long that Mustang (Cougar?) was able to get around with a detached drive axle.

  • @fatdaddygaming9102
    @fatdaddygaming9102 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Did this mustang driver not question why hardly HARDLY anyone uses these cars for derbies? Lmao. Leaf spring mount is legit the back of the car. People use cars with coil spring rear ends or long trunks so you have room for smash action. This was actually comical

    • @fatdaddygaming9102
      @fatdaddygaming9102 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I will say props to whoever welded the driveshaft bolts and shit lmao he got around pretty decent to be hot rodding it
