I just picked up my knitting and was thinking "I really hat want to watch Tayler" and when I looked you had just put this video up 4 minutes prior! Meant to be! Thanks for being so lovely to listen to while I knit.

Your initial brainstorm on the Mexican blanket inspired me to go take a look at some blanket patterns, and I settled on the Brentwood Throw by Michael Vloedman. It is LOVELY and allover mosaic, so no need to change needles. I'm really enjoying it, knit up in Ecowool and Ecowool +. I did add 20 stitches to give it more width, which seems to be just about perfect after blocking.

These last few months I’ve been obsessed with mosaic. I’ve knitted a few things and I’ve been working on year long Tunisian hexagon CAL. Oh my goodness. All the different projects that people are doing are just beautiful.

Hey! I love hearing your thoughts about the blanket. I started knitting mine in September after I heard about it from you. I am not finished. I took a break because the bulky yarn and needles were starting to hurt my hands. It’s easy to knit but a real work out for my hands. I can’t wait to finish! I’d probably knit another one!

Hi! I'm absolutely in love with your blanket since the first time you showed it, and it's even more stunning now that it's finished! I like how your color choice brought through the "Mexican" vibe. Also, autumn colors are so delicious, even though I don't do well with them for wearables. They do have this inherent cozy characteristic that makes them so proper for home cozy items, though.
As for your questions about other blankets, I would recommend two books: Geometric Knit Blankets (2021), which has some of the most stunning blankets of all times, and also the more recent Brooklyn Tweed’s Knit and Crochet Blankets (2024). I'm yet to knit a blanket myself and I'm not even sure I'm up to the task, but the ones presented in these books are real works of art, and with varying techniques and levels of dificulty. I think Roxane Richardson has a review of the Geometric Knit Blankets book
