just did a voltage regulator on an E64 M6 and had to piece together info from half a dozen website and youtube sources and was still scratching my head...you have all the detail, it's easy to understand, and you show all the work as it happens. Perfect video!

Thank you for making this video - I’m a newb at working on my car and this makes it much more straightforward. I am installing new Evolve catless downpipes and their Stage-2 tune and I will replace the coils and plugs at the same time.

Great vid, thanks. I see you skipped over the re-fitting of the bracket that the DMEs mount to. That is a pain in the arse. Why BMW didn't make the bolts captive is beyond me. Bluetack helps anyway. I used to remove and refit my downpipes every year. I thought I'd never have to deal with that crap again but I need to do the plugs :-/

Thanks for the video! So I followed all the steps and when I went to start the car only the starter would run without the car starting.
So I went under the hood (while battery was still plugged) and turns out one of the DME connectors weren’t in all the way, it would pull out even when “locked”. I plugged it in all the way (battery still plugged in) and then went inside the car to see a bunch of transmission, drivetrain malfunctions… and now when I try to start the car the starter won’t even run.
Do you think all I need to do is clear all codes with Bimmerlink?

Can you please make a f10 M5 break pad tutorial front and back would be amazing. Not too many videos out there on it and love how you explain everything truly even tho did spark plugs before. Gave me more confidence especially removing the dme units. With the break pads not great videos on compressing the piston especially on front breaks. Also in the back have the electronic break and some people say to remove it some say you don’t. If you could would be amazing understand things take time so thanks for hearing me out.

Quick question you said 30nm which is 22ft pounds I’ve always done 17ft pounds do you recommend 22ft pounds?

I would go with the spec. 22nm. 17-22 isn't that big of difference and 22 wonr break the plug. So I would go with the together spec even tho those engine don't have a problem with plugs lessening and getting shot out of the hole like a 2V ford does lol

For F10? That won't be a problem. They are kind of tricky!
