Anyway, awesome video, all good for u and your babies! 🖤
These female rats were really something going on in there. Love the names. Sage, Willow, sprout and dumpling. Wow, what names she created, it suits the rats so much to them. They’re intuitive, generous and fun to entertain each other together in a cage. Thank you for your rat friendly content! Wow! Sprout and Dumpling, all grown up! 🐀🐀
I had a baby rat live for a week in a cage next to my adult boys and they took him in right away when I introduced them in the tub. It was so sweet and they were all so close & ended up bonding so well. I only regret not getting more rats!!
Rat introductions are so interesting. You never can tell what will happen. I've had the worst case scenario happen, and then I've had groups that were super easy. It's almost always a nail biter, haha. Your kiddos are so cute, heee!
Omg omg omg….They are So Adorable ❤️🐀🐁❤️ Thank You for taking care of these pr cloud little souls. Ratties are truly the BEST critters ever! The ONLY thing wrong with having pet rats is their short lifespan…I wish they lived longer bc it’s quite devastating when they pass😔❤️🐀🐁❤️
I loved my rats when I had them. When I had 2 adults I ended up getting 4 baby rats from a breeder. They were introduced to them in my bathtub. They instantly got along. They were called Tamaki, Hikaru, Dylan, Bailey, Gizmo and Beezley
Glad these intro methods worked for you. My last introductions took 8 weeks! Next time I'm going straight to the carrier method and not doing item swaps (I think this increased stress and made them more aggressive when they finally met).
I can sort of see where that would make sense. Suddenly smelling another rat in their own territory would probably feel threatening. Like an intruder sneakily encroaching upon what belongs to them. I know I wouldn't like it if I saw evidence of my neighbor having been in my house, uninvited, when I wasn't looking. 😂
They’re all sooo adorable, you’re seriously making me want some pet rats, but my nana would never come to my house ever again because she’s terrified of them 😅 Dumplings my favourite one ❤️
I know that I'm super late to posting this but I had the same issue with the home Depot basin not fitting, you can actually remove the bottom grate and have the home Depot basin kind of free hanging and it's still fits! It actually fits much better and they get a lot more space
