yess..the second khutbah is needed to be spread among our ummah..we are too busy judging others..while keeping the "rights of entering jannah"

I was couldn't understand why Muslims opposed the Mawlid of the Prophet Muhammed but I can now respect their stance because of Sheikh Yasirs exposition on this matter for the past decade or more.
How can I explain my happiness and contentment…..

There is nothing wrong in Mawlid if it’s in a limit but in some places it’s going out of control, not even respecting the basic teachings of Islam. May Allah guide us all and keep the Ummah united.
Very good advise in the second part of khutbah... respect differences of opinion, don't cause fitna/divisions within the ummah... .unity is key, we are meant to be part of the best ummah belonging to the best Prophet & Messenger Muhammad sallellahu alayhi wassalam❤️

This was a great khutba. I was so happy to listen about our beloved prophet SAS. This was another wake-up call to remind us how lucky we are to be part of the umma of the prophet Muhammad SAS.

Shukran Ya Shaykh. We need to stand together because the ummah is facing an onslaught from the enemies outside without having to fight about things we may not agree upon. I celebrate the Moulood every week and am extremely happy at being of this ummah.Indeed reading Nasheed/Na'at and Seeratun Nabi brings me great joy. And I love my brother whether he celebrates the moulood or not. May Allah bring us together with our differences.Ameen

AsSalamAalaikum. Please watch the seerah series of RasulAllah ﷺ by Seikh Yasir Qadhi; he explained the issue over there and mentioned it took place not when RasulAllah ﷺ entered Madinah after hijrah rather when he returned from Battle of Tabuk. And Allah knows the best.

We respect the ulama and the muhaditheen but if they weree prone to any biddah then we won't follow it. May Allaah forgive us and them and may Allaah guide all of us towards the straight path. Aameen
Calling Muslims towards unity should only be done on Qur'aan and Sunnah and the manhajj of the sahaabah. This is the only solution/ najaah
Brother, there is barakah and aafiyah in following the sunnah and being steadfast on it. Abu Bak, Umar and Uthmaan gave the Qur'aan a book form or on a one lahjah of Quraish then this is supported by the hadeeth of follow my sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs and in the Qur'aan itself many places it's mentioned book of Allaah. Secondly there was the ijmaa of the sahaabah on the compilation of the Qur'aan in mushaff.
Bilal used to pray tahiyatul wudhu then there are several other ahadeeth which are narrrated by different sahaabah about tahiyatul wudhu.
And there is a principle in Islam that the ibaadat are tawfeeqiyah. We would do only Allaah's ibadat based upon Qur'aan and Sunnah. We can't pray 4 rakah for salatul fajr.
And this deed of Bilal ibn Rabah was attested by the Prophet salallaahu alihi wa sallam himself.

There is a difference with what Bilal( ra) explained to Nabi (swa ) and the other examples you give brother as compared to people who celebrate the mawlid.Itbis classified as a bidah because different people in different parts of the world celebrate it differently.Most ,in fact all fall into impermissible acts.Mixed gatherings,chanting on streets,street parades,dancing,music,lights etc etc but to name a few.Every person I've come across so far that celebrates the mawlid in at least five countries I've been to and are citizens of three others that celebrate the mawlid do not follow the sunnahs of our prophet peace be upon him.To show the true and sincere love of our Prophet peace be upon him,means to emulate him in his ways and to follow his message and teachings.Most in fact of these people don't even pray their five times prayers punctually.They drag their trouser bottoms over their ankles.The prophet peace be upon him was born in this month but there never was a stipulated date even by him ( swa)or his companions ever,and yet people have innovated his birth date.There is a huge risk of falling into sin and a fine line between haraam and the permissible in celebrating and doing these types of acts .One can't control the masses and people have gone into extremes We not living in the times of the respected scholars like ibn taymiyyah may Allahs mercy be upon him and the other scholars you mention.Our Prophet peace be upon him was clear when he said if a matter is doubtful stay away from it.Why toddle with these matters then and confuse the ummah?
Shame. Such an educated, committed and eloquent man believing in so many fabricated and foolish Hadiths. Most of which were made after events. You are driving away the new generation from the religion you are preaching. I wish you could reflect on your preaching method with common sense and logic. We could say, to some certain degree, the prophet of Islam had only two miracles; the Quran and creation of a united Ummah. Not turning a twig to a sword, stopping Uhud from trembling or hugging a sobbing piece of wood or ..................
