In Somali we call it Sharaf. Even the most indigent from our community will strive for Sharaf.
I love the Talibul Ilm because above everything they have ‘Izzah. They have honour and they show that with their rights to people, rights to Allah, speech, mannerisms, time, work ethic, etc. This is one of the examples of showing high honour, to never beg and to know that they are traversing the greatest & most noblest paths. What I’d do to beca Talibul Ilm or to at least have their mindset & company. May Allah bless you

I ask this because I know from a podcast you were in that it's mandatory to memorize Muharrar. Essentially, if I memorize buluugh ul maram, will the university also make me memorize al muharrar?

I think he is saying the visa granted for you to study in madinah or Saudi doesnt allow you to work in official employment in the country. Whereas teaching online is not official work or related to working the country.

i don't think so, ustaadh is talking about taking money that you kind of have to beg for, the university money is rightfully yours and he even mentioned if someone wants to help you out and OFFERS money/transport/food to you, it's okay to take it as opposed to asking for hand-outs if that makes sense. You can still work beforehand and save in case of emergencies but take whatever has been given to you and don't make things harder for yourself

Apply with whatever results you got, as long as you have a certificate and a transcript you can apply

Yeah there is, they close for a few hours at night for deep cleaning
