Back in the 70'my friend and I would go into the local record store and pick out an album by just the cover. I chose Iron Maiden's first album and he chose No Sleep Til Hammersmith. Man we wore out that album!!!
Thanks for calling out the RRHOF David...they have no clue....Motorhead is essential when you are talking about RnR to quote Lemmy "We are Motorhead and we play Rock n Roll"
Well this got a 👍 immediately! Not that I'm a Motörhead fan, or anything 🤔 Lemmy would play midway up the Bass, he loved the tone of the A string on the Ricky, occasionally moving into the first position. He played more like a rhythm guitarist than a Bassist.
Love me some Motörhead - loudest band I ever saw! Nice dissing of the RnRHoF too - they deserve it. I went there the year after Rush were supposedly inducted. Their name appeared precisely once in the entire place - listed amonst many others, on the wall, in a stairwell. Meanwhile, they had a huge exhibition of Beyoncé's dresses - and she wasn't even eligible to be in the HoF.
Awesome vid! All your videos are fun and packed with tons of great info! Thanks so much! I've been playing since 1987 and you keep teaching me new stuff! Much appreciated. And even though I didn't have time to tune down a half step to play along I got all of these bits. Please do a video for the later Motorhead as well! Thanks again! Keep the faith!
Metallica got me into Motorhead and Lemmy worked that bass like a beast on top of being a great frontman. For future recommendations, could you cover: Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders) Scott "Wino" Weinrich Al Pitrelli (Trans Siberian, Savatage)
After going to the RRHOF and expecting actual rock bands, I was more than disappointed! Being a huge KISS fan, I found almost NOTHING about KISS and a broken KISS pinball machine. The RRHOF isn't about popular rock and roll, it's about what the board members believe is relevant. It has less to do with what the fans like or want! If you're thinking of going there, don't waste your money! Use the money for something more enjoyable! Like a root canal!
Brian Robertson!
I love the Phil Campbell - Würzel era too, when they traded solos like on Built For Speed.
Great lesson,to hell with the hall of fame they don’t deserve Motörhead

Great Lesson! I love Fast Eddie's style. Rhythm and lead combined, and it never seems too thin.

Wicked Lesson!! 💯🔥🔥🔥🤘
YES! All of the yes.
You've even got the right axe for old school Motorhead, strat with HSS configuration.
Rock n roll hall of fame is all about the $$$ anyway. Great mentions and lesson!
So funny. Before the video started, I thought the name-this-tune-riff would be No Class. :-)
Killer as always tysvm😊
Thumbs up for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame statement.

Great Video. Just Monsters! Lemmy was instrumental in Momma I'm coming home.
BTW...BRAVO on your assessment of TRRHOF.👏👏👏👏 Complete 🤡🤡 show
Lemmy wrote great bridges for the solos
Motorhead 'rock n roll for the people'
No Sleep til Late Night
🤘
4:54 I think more like inversed D5 and C5 double stops. But I'm just an amateur at this.
Despite the title No class is a classy song! ♠️
Brian did one album. Also, you forgot the late, great Wurzel!
Tush from zz top i mean no class!

Did he just forget to mention Larry Wallis?
Hey dude, I 've just realized you look a little bit like the great Late Lemmy himself !!! You're just playing the wrong instrument 🙂
no class!
The rock an roll hall of fame is so lame
