Seeing all of this food being cooked was truly comforting and relaxing. For me, cooking is a way to express my creativity, but also a way to relax and take my time. It's truly admirable that you found the time and the will to film despite going through a loss, sending lots of love ❤
be kind to yourself Immy. Not wanting to cook after such an emotional event is definitely not lazy! BTW, in case you wanted to know - the bird was a Blackbird. that's its alarm call.
Your videos bring me so much peace. I feel like it slows down the pace of life for a while and helps me to pay attention to the small beauties in this world.
Your videos are the most inspirering ive seen in a long time... Im just starting my vegan journey and you are helping me alot... I write down all your recipies
not sure wherein the US you will be moving to but here in Boise Idaho the City has a curbside compost pick up. In the Springtime the turned compost is deposited in a GIANT pile at the local Botanical Garden where the residents can come pick up to use in their home gardens, it's Awesome.
Thank you for posting this. I love how you show that you aren't perfect, but it's just one meal and you can aim to be better in the next meal. I also love that you eat normal portion sizes, I could actually see myself eating these foods and not being ravenous by the end of day.
Hey Immy, I’ve been hanging with you and your awesome community peeps on this channel for a long time. When I think of how your channel and your content has evolved over the years, it is pretty dang impressive!! Your content is diverse, inclusive, engaging, and inspiring. Your combination of moxie, creativity, and intelligence is such a driving force. Over the past two years I have really enjoyed your cooking videos which highlight your seasonal eating journey. I have had success with so many of your recipes and I appreciate that you have connected us with other content creators who have influenced you. Lastly, I want to say that last night I made your BBQ Tofu🔥 that you introduced us to in an IG Reel this past week. To quote my partner… after one bite he pronounced… “plenty of BBQ flavour there!”. June has been wet, cold, and miserable here in the wilderness of northern 🇨🇦. We have experienced flooding from a breach in the beaver dam in the mountains behind my house which resulted in road washouts, lengthy power outages, and internet interruptions… BUT when we had your BBQ Tofu🔥 last night… it felt like a good ol’ relaxing summer evening on the deck with a delicious and ever-so-slightly smokey summer BBQ meal. I want to thank-you for this and I hope my little story has brought you joy, comfort, and a whole lotta pride. 🌎💦Ⓜ️ary💕

Sorry to hear that your friend died. :( I have had 3 firends die this year, ages ranging from 35 to 65. It's been a tough couple of years. I just want to say that I love your videos because they are so mellow and you are one of the few vegan TH-camrs who really emphasize sustainability. Love it. I wish my garden was doing as well as yours but the weather here in Colorado has been super unpredictable and working full time makes it difficult to time the planting. It will be better later, but usually by this time I have tons of greens growing. All I have now is a couple of very small arugula and lettuce.
Love love your videos! Especially all ones food related. I’m not vegan but get so excited and thankful for eating more plant based meals when I watch your videos.
I made the banana bread from Rainbow Plant Life and it has been the best banana bread ever. Have to give the brownie a go next time because it looks spectacular!
I love your videos. Would love more like this. When you make the repeat recipes, I actually love to see it bc I know that means you really love it. I finally made bagels. So good. Can't wait to make this RPL one now. Also I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. Sending you a big virtual hug. 🥰
Loved the video. Thanks for making it. Definitely happy to watch more of these. That tikka looked amazing. :D Thanks for linking the full recipe definitely going on my list to try. :)
Wonderful😊 and real raw video 🎥 which I loved! Can the Brownie recipe be made by hand? I don't have mixer. Lovely dishes and I like the variety of meals. With your smoothie mix, do you freeze some of the ingredients together then place in the blender?

love these type of videos. going to have to try making that bbq sauce, I really want to try making the bread at some point. those gummy worm things looked so interesting. Are there differences between a food recycler and a lomi? Do you ever use plant neem oil?
Your gut microbiome must love you. So much plant diversity. FIber rich food. Fermented and sprouted foods. Do you have smooth digestion? Weird question. I am just a curious Biochemist.😄

There is chickpea tofu out there, if you can get it - it might work. The texture is different though. Or maybe just chickpeas, so it becomes a chana masala. 😊
