Hi Belinda, cute tags, just another opportunity for the whale tail punch to appear on camera 😂! I like to make my own tags for gifts, I have even made wrapping paper to match the card I’ve made for weddings and birthdays. It is so nice to know that people you give hand made cards and gifts to appreciate them, especially when you have put so much time, effort and mostly love into making it for them. I hope you had a wonderful time with your friend, you little butterfly 🦋. Thanks for the visit 👍🙏❤️🇦🇺🥰🤗🦋

Yes, Leesa! 😆 Love having the whale tail punch. Unlocks fun new options for me. This butterfly needs to go back in the cocoon, I reckon. Too much wing flapping is exhausting. 😉 🥰

Awww how cute, enjoy your visitor ❤ it's so nice to catch up with friends. I used to buy the gift tags cheaply after Christmas but haven't for quite a lot of years now, much more fun to make them. It's wonderful when your craft is appreciated and loved ❤

Thank you, Selina. 🤗 I bought a pack of Christmas gift cards in the January sales a year or 2 back and they're still sitting in my stash. 😄 I should dig them out to use in my December Days Journal. 🥰

Thank you, Cindy. They would be so cute as dangles anywhere in a journal. 😊

These are so cute. As you put on the whale tail tab, it reminded me of a snowman with a hat on.
BTW, drove through Amberley twice on Sunday. Thought of you and Lydia as I did. Such a beautiful wee town.

Awww, belated waves hello, Robyn. 👋 Oh, a snowman. It could be made into a snowman's head or add 2 more circles to make a whole snowman. That would be adorable! 😃

Morning Belinda, I’m glad you had a good weekend. Your little bauble tags are very cute. Question: I have seen many people turn to glue stick, in the last year, or so. My concern/question is does it really stick for long? Thin paper to thin paper I have found it ok in the past. However, using shiny paper, or heavier paper/thin cardstock I have often found it fails. Are Creators just using these products because it’s quick and cheap to demonstrate with? Which is of course fine. Or are they/you using it because you feel it works as well as say Art Glitter Glue? I don’t want to go to the effort of making a journal just to have everything fall apart. Perhaps it’s horses for courses. I hope you don’t mind my question. I have wanted to ask ‘someone’ this for some time. I really do enjoy your channel and am not trying to be offensive. 😊

Hi Linda. Please never be afraid to question things - I am always happy to answer. First, quality glue stick. There are very poor ones, and very good ones. Paper to paper/card they are pretty good. Sewing can eliminate long-term failures, or like I often choose to do, glue stick in the middle and Tacky glue around the edges - it's never going to part company (unless it gets saturated, I guess). I don't like glue stick for shiny papers, etc, but will use it in combo with stitching or Tacky glue. Also consider what the piece is for. A journal or tag would suffer less than a pocket. I'd never go glue stick on a cover, unless it's to tack something in place before sewing or covering in tape, etc. Does that help? 🥰
