This palette looks superb. I would love to see swatches of how the shadows look on the eye without a coloured base or do they need to have another colour underneath??
Great review! I was on the fence about this palette but I love how you used a black eye shadow cream to show the colors! Just gave me another idea on how to use this palette. As always, thanks Michele!
Beautiful palette!! I would have never thought by looking at all the bright colors you could get such a great smoky look. So thank you for showing that.
What a wonderful treat Michele, thank you for the New Year's Day video! Palette looks amazing - you did a great job explaining the inspiration, finish and demo - thanks!
I love how thorough you are in your videos and your descriptions. I have dry/sensitive skin like you and I always try to find beauty guru's that have mature skin like me.
Im so glad this is up! I just got the viseart pro account during the new website launch and i finally decided to try some palettes. Well i picked out three for my birthday, got 20% off, and somehow i missed the coy palette! That night i was just playing a guessing game with my husband where he had to guess what three i picked, then he showed me coy and i was like "HOW did i miss that palette it is gorgeous!" and i basically immediately came to your page to find swatches and it is so much better swatched! Then i started seeing it all over instagram on viseart again because theyre discontinuing it, so of course, i had to go back now and finally order it for myself. Thank you so much for these detailed reviews of products, i wouldn't have been as comfortable to buy the coy without seeing your video!
Gorgeous, Michele! Just subscribed! I’ve been so interested in Viseart lately & im so excited to see this new palette as well as the Viseart Grande Pro II palette- thank you for your in depth information - they look OH so lovely on you! You’re gorgeous by the way! Lots of love! 🌈✨ ☮️❤️🙏
I want this palette so much! I’ve been playing with their Bridal Satin lately and I initially hated it until I saw how it photographed on my eyes. They really kick yo their quality with each release!
Wow! This is a very interesting and fun palette! This eye look is so creative and pretty!! I hope to eventually get this palette. Again, you look beautiful! I hope you are feeling better. Happy New Year! Ginny 😘😘😘
Mmmhmmm well I had almost talked myself out of this palette but obviously that is not going to work. Looks like I've picked my one allowed palette for January already. Thanks for the review / demo Michele!
Sheila King Yes 😃, Natasha has a lot of wealthy mature clients and she kept them in mind when she formulated her shadows. (I have followed her on Instagram for a long time and have learnt a lot from her conversations there. She’s fantastic at answering questions from fans on Instagram) I use her shadows a little differently to others. I put a sticky base on my eyelids (Benefit’s Boi-ing Brightening Concealer is my fav), 2. DON’T set it with powder, 3. Using a finger, swipe your chosen shimmer onto your eyelid, 4. Most of her shimmer shadows are ‘selfblending’ so they are actually their own transition shadows. So after swiping the shadow onto your lid, use a blending brush to blend the edges. The more you blend her shimmers, the more they change in texture and colour. So just experiment. 5. Then (if you want to, but not necessary) add mattes into the crease as desired for the eye look that you want This technique works for my hooded, crepey, mature eyes. The shadows stay put all day, keep their colour and look beautiful because they have such a depth to them. I hope that, if you buy them, you will enjoy them as much as I do. All the best...🌸
Jenny M Sounds like Natasha is a smart business woman. I wish more cosmetic companies would realize they are overlooking a very profitable customer base. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this information. I can’t wait to try your technique with ND shadows. If all goes well with her 5-pan palette, I’m grabbing her Gold Palette. Thank you again and take care🌺
Sheila King My pleasure! Actually it was the Beautylish Lucky Bag that started me. I received the 5-pan palette in #10 two years ago and I thought it was stunning. 49M Vintage is one of my favourite shadows from that palette...it’s a one shadow look. Since then I’ve been collecting her larger palettes and I adore them. Cheers 💕
Michelle!!! Thanks for the demo! That periwinkle is the shade I’ve been searching for. I kept the ABH Prism palette for the shade that’s similar to this. Wore it last night for NYE and realized that it’s too muddy and too glittery for me whereas THIS shade looks to be The ONE, bright and shiny : )
Hi Michele, you are so good at doing eye looks. I’d love more tutorial style eyeshadow videos. What’s really nice with your videos is the way you zoom in on your face during application. I can actually see what you’re doing! Thanks
I just wish they would sell them individually or perhaps do a Create your Own pan option. I would definitely choose a variety of options, most likely cool tone since they are so hard to come by. I am not a makeup artist, just someone who would like a bit of colours and really want to try Viseart. Will you please consider doing a series of films using different colours? Happy New Year and thank you for the review!!
Nice review. But I'd never use a black base. Just a regular eye shadow primer or maybe Esum's Mixing medium. I feel it's hard to see what the shadows would look like on their own with dark shadow under it. I wanna get this palette soon the color scheme is pretty!
I suspect you will prob experience more fallout with synthetic brushes, but they could work. I think they would work especially well if you were to use a mixing medium with the shadows.
This looks gorgeous! Thank you for doing a review so quickly because I was waiting to hear your thoughts. I think Viseart didn’t use glitter because so many pro artists use this brand, especially the pro and 12 pan palettes. From what I’ve heard from Anastasia, they never mix shimmer and matte in the pro palettes because it could be disastrous if a glitter particle got into a matte palette and was picked up by a HD camera. Love the look you created and the color story is beautiful. Will definitely pick this up! Happy New Year 🎊
After hearing a description of this new formula, while I understand why you did, it was disappointing to see you chose to use a base of any color for a first demo. (You should have used a colorless base as recommended by Viseart themselves.) Similar to putting soy sauce on a dish you have yet to taste because you automatically assume the dish needs back up.
i believe in the grande pro there were meant to be more of toppers or inner corner highlights.. putting over a dark base, or base in general, is probably the best way to show them over the whole eyelid.
I actually APPRECIATED the black base since she’s showcasing how they could be used in an everyday setting. People don’t want to leave the house looking clownish all the time. This look was sophisticated and beautiful
We obviously all have different tastes, not sure why everyone feels the need to go against the opinion that some viewers did not like a dark base. Some stating the obvious - she liked the base or she wouldnt have used it. Who knows maybe Michelle will use the critique and show future palettes on various bases.
These do look gorgeous! Most of the colors are different, but the finish reminds me quite a bit of the formula in Jouer’s holiday release, the Making Magic Ultra Foil palette, which I recently picked up (on a fab sale!)& have really been enjoying.
I've been looking for a palette to really start to play with eyeshadow and color instead of my typical bronze eye. This may be the one! It's young fun and girly.
I'm not a fan of the packaging. It looks like something from a drug store. I know the formula is great but with that packaging I can't. Thanks for sharing another great video with us. Happy New year!!!
Just goes to show how one person's trash is another's treasure. I love the packaging. I find it extremely functional. I like that with the case being magnetized, one can remove pans to rearrange or move to a different palette, the clear cover lets me see exactly what shadows are inside, and yet I don't feel I'm paying a large portion of the price just for the packaging. I shudder to think how some companies must cut the quality of the product to pay for elaborate packaging.
@@annettebarletta8014 Well, that's certainly a good reason to not like it. I've been lucky and not had any issues. I'd be very upset (especially if I was a pro) and the packaging didn't survive in my work environment.
@Pjcat Ham True, I'm thinking of lower-tier brands with trendy packaging. I'm also a frequent sucker for packaging which is why I feel noble when I can resist.
@@carolmelancon I'm no pro for sure. I don't even use eye makeup daily. And I do like clear tops. Just find it frustrating to spend a lot of money for a great product that is packaged cheaply. I keep all my palettes in a lucite drawer thing and they are well protected. I even keep them in the original boxes! The Viseart clear tops have all cracked.
Clever you to place those shadows over black. Cleverer still to use the Surratt black that was made to be a base for powder shadow. I suspect you’ve really shown that Viseart palette at its best. Great job! You look beautiful. You also look like you’re feeling much better. 🤞🏻Happy New Year!
This palette looks superb. I would love to see swatches of how the shadows look on the eye without a coloured base or do they need to have another colour underneath??

Michele, one of the nicest things I discovered in 2018 was you're channel ! Happy New Year !
Thank you so much! Happy 2019!
I could feel your excitement using this palette! It looks a precious jewel 💎 thanks for sharing this amazing look and review!
Great review! I was on the fence about this palette but I love how you used a black eye shadow cream to show the colors! Just gave me another idea on how to use this palette. As always, thanks Michele!
Thanks so much! xoxo
Beautiful palette!! I would have never thought by looking at all the bright colors you could get such a great smoky look. So thank you for showing that.
Micronized is the size of the particle. So they are just saying that they have super tiny shimmery particles.
Of course!! Thanks for clarifying!
this palette is so gorgeous and unique! Love your videos Michele, you so thoroughly discuss new products. This might be my first Viseart purchase!
Excellent review of this new palette. It is so pretty! Happy New Year Michele!
Thanks Brenda!! A very happy new year to you! xoxo
Clever to apply that black before the color shadow. I will have to try it out!
Thank you so much, Ms Marcello!!
What a wonderful treat Michele, thank you for the New Year's Day video! Palette looks amazing - you did a great job explaining the inspiration, finish and demo - thanks!
Gorgeous palette! 🖤 Happy New Year!
Ahh man so glad you are doing a video on this palette... I kinda want it but I’m trying to be good
Be good! It'll be there in the future if you still want! :D
I love how thorough you are in your videos and your descriptions. I have dry/sensitive skin like you and I always try to find beauty guru's that have mature skin like me.
Yay! Thanks for reviewing this palette. Happy new year!
Beautiful palette and look. Happy New Year. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Happy New Year Michele 🥳🎊

Oooh super fun colors! I’m tempted for sure! 🤩

I get my viseart fix from your vids. I am obsessed! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!
How different is it from the previous 12 pan shimmers?
Hi Loralie! This formula is a crystalline satin shadow formula - similar to column 1 of the Viseart Grande Pro 2 ✨
For me personally, these have more shine and glitz than those previous 12-pan palettes which have a very subtle soft sheen.
Thank U..Happy New Year!!
Looking wonderful Michele... I hope you are on the mend?
Rest up when you can and take care. Another great video xoxo

Beautiful palette! Happy 2019 to you!!
Since I have texture on my inner lids, I limit my use of shimmer shades. Does this formula highlight lid texture & folds?
Sheila King
Natasha Denona shimmers look beautiful on mature lids...
Really? I haven’t tried ND shimmer shadows. Maybe I’ll get a 5-pan palette to test them. Thank you for the tip👍🏽

Happy New Year, Iris! I always see your posts here 😊 Take care, Ginny
These swatches and this eyelook on you is beautiful! I think this new Crystalline formula is an improvement to their original shimmer palettes.
I see some sweet girly colors there. Pretty for a beach vk or tanning by the pool. Happy New Year!

So will these work well with synthetic brushes? Or just the natural hair brushes?
I suspect you will prob experience more fallout with synthetic brushes, but they could work. I think they would work especially well if you were to use a mixing medium with the shadows.
out of curiosity, why not touch up the greys?
I've never colored my hair so it's just something I don't want to start doing.
