Lemons Loop

Hi! Here is my latest lil' film!
I originally had this idea from a short online comic about a man trapped in his apartment, and when he opened the door it would only lead to another copy of his apartment. He only had water from the faucet, rice, and bread to eat in his kitchen, and the whole point of the story was about refrain and, painfully, learning to be better. I had the idea to really lean into the abstractness of this idea- forming an absurd multi-layered metaphor about the disintegration of relationships through symbolism within components like the lemon (a bitter, unsustainable fruit) and the presence of stairs (progression/regression), buildings (sectioned off hallways and rooms), and doors (exits/entrances) supplemented by surrealist audio and visual components.
I can't promise I won't come back to this project one day! As there is a lot I want to change/add. I had some problems exporting/changing frame size so I had to go back and add transitions and recut it after the video was already completed. This is a really cleaned up version that I am pretty happy with :)
