Parked at Beachwood Market took Uber to the address you said in the video walked from there to the Hollywood sign great directions Awesome view. If you drive to Lake Hollywood Park you can also get a pretty good view from there also.

@@liquidbraino I ve been in Hollywood many times. I’ve seen the sign from different angles and different parts Hollywood. It looks close but to walk to it is quite a hike

Omg I wish we would have had this video when we visited 😂 at least we didn't have to hike back to our car. But then again we risked our life with that Uber ride back 😂😂
310asian that hike was a MIX of emotions lol. The uber ride was so fun but scary at the same time 😂 ahh good times. 3 hours, foot blisters but still at least no sprained ankles or feed. Oh, and the in n out after was delish!
@@TheEmployedTraveler Could have been a fifteen to twenty minute hike from the top of Beachwood. I've never had trouble finding parking in the thirty years I've been hiking up there.

How long did it take you to hike the top from where you parked the tesla?

You make a big mistake to recommend parking that far down from the path for the hike. On week days,, you can park legally for free, way up there near the trail entrance, atop Mullholland where Ledgewood Drive ends. Even on weekends, you can park a few blocks away not far from the trail path off of Mullholland Hwy by Ledgewood Drive. I go up there every day, I know the different ways to get up to the sign.

@@h3ll0_2 I've got two different videos on my channel showing two different ways to get to the Hollywood sign. One is ideal if you're hiking during the day the other if you're hiking at night, like between 10pm - 4am. I've been hiking up there since 1985.
Telling you will definitely help if you've had land navigation training (like if you ever served in the military). You could give me nothing but longitude and latitude coordinates and I'll find it or grid coordinates on a USGS map; I'll get there.
Take Beachwood all the way to the end; hike five or ten minutes from Sunset stables. Unless it's after 10pm because the gate on Beachwood closes and you have to take Western to the Park and Hike which is an hour long hike (with beautiful views).
The hike he calls "easiest" is three hours long with a lot of unnecessary and confusing steps which aren't even a "Secret". This whole video and it's title are click-bait that's only going to confuse you if you try to follow his directions. I've literally got a Google fly through map on my channel which shows you step by step how to get there from Burbank (that's if you want a more challenging five hour hike that leads all the way over the mountain from Burbank into Hollywood).
The other one is self explanatory; one hour hike from the Park and Hike on Western or you can do a fifteen minute hike from the top of Beachwood.
I was waiting for y'all to go to the back of the sign though. You didn't get that close. Or did i miss that part?
If you want to get behind the Hollywood sign it's easier if you take Beachwood and hike from Sunset stables or Western and hike from the Park and Hike (if you're hiking at night, Beachwood is closed after 10Pm

How long did it take to actually hike it?
Longer than he's making it look. The way he showed makes no sense at all and I've lived here my whole life. Just take Beachwood all the way to the top and hike from Sunset Stables. It's like five minutes to the first plateau where you can get a good shot & maybe twenty minutes if you want to get up behind the sign. I guarantee you he hiked for no less than two hours and cut a lot of that hike out of his video plus lied about it all being some big "secret". There's tons of different ways to get to the Hollywood sign and none of them are a "secret".
Did you see any e bikers riding to the sign?
Secret entrance? Easiest directions? It's not a secret to anyone in Los Angeles and you turned a fifteen minute walk into a three hour hike by going the longest most unnecessary irrational way possible. Are you even from here?
1. Not located anywhere near a residential community, it's located in Griffith Park.
2 There's nothing secret about the signs or the many ways to get there which don't include passing through somebody's yard. If you try to go up Beachwood AFTER 10pm the only way to get to the sign is by climbing someone's fence and going through their backyard but you can also take Western up to the Park and Hike & hike for an hour.
3 You CAN park near the Sunset stables but you have to get there early to find parking off of Beachwood that's not restricted. There's nothing "secret" about Beachwood. If you go after 10pm you're not getting in via Beachwood at all & have to take Western unless you want to take an even longer hike from the Burbank side.
4 You could have bypassed all of that unnecessary Uber + hiking through residential areas by going straight to the top of Beachwood. There's always parking on the side streets, only certain areas are restricted.
You really just showed people the convoluted and confusing way to get to the Hollywood sign which is only a secret to people who haven't lived in Los Angeles their whole lives. That's like saying "Harry Potter is all secret" because you haven't yet read the book which anybody can read. Plus I know you cut a LOT out of this video to make it look easier than it was.
If you want the "easy" hike just take Beachwood all the way to the end and hike from Sunset stables. I've been hiking up there since 1985 and have never seen a more convoluted and confusing way to get to the Hollywood sign.
