Used coffee grounds are also good for composting and just tossing them in the garden improves the soil.

Heath our mechanic use to take the fuel line off after the fuel pump to see if it has adequate pressure if that was OK he then went to the injectors and the seals maybe a bad regulator. Bleed back is a common problem especially in winter I think it has something to do with the seals shrink in the cold especially when the engine isn't running. During the summer this usually doesn't happen because the seals swell a good seal is hard to beat. But glad to see you and Rhett working in the garage and getting the generator ready to be wired up. Tell Cedar that it's the delivery that makes the joke tell her right now is a good time to sweat. Be careful and stay safe my friends God love ya 💓

Love your content. I'm sure you see and get tired of certain posts. I am a Ford diesel tech and have owned idi and powerstrokes. To my flatrate detriment I tend to diag rather than throw parts. On the idi I have seen several air leaks as you mentioned. I put a clear line in place of the rubber hose to see where it drains back or sucks air. My experience is the rubber line at mechanical fuel pump, or if the water separator is on the firewall. Also either of the fuel pumps. High pressure pump seals could be dry creating issue. Turn fuel up 1 flat to wake it up. Powerstrokes...icp is relative to fuel pressure. If it's tuned monitor icp with scan tool if possible you may have oil high pressure oil problem. Ie black color in fuel bowl, ipr, icp and oil soaked connector, injector harness opening up when warm. Just trying to help. Thanks again for your content.

Hey. I'm talking as a wife of an Electrician. Sadly he passed away 10/19/2019. But my point is I know what it's like to be put on the back burner one too many times. So in all kindness and humility, I say Stop. Stop putting your wife's projects on the back burner while you do your own thing. She will appreciate you so much more. And so will we here at home as we watch your sweet family. Also, the whole family spending time together in this video, was just heartwarming to watch. You know I am blind I have said it before, but I listen. And I just love you and Cedar and your little family. God Bless.

I’ve only got the one 2002 7.3 to fight with, having resurrected it from being scrapped, so I’m not too familiar with all iterations of the platfrom, but the two main fueling issues I’ve found are the intake in the fuel tank fouling, and that it’s very finicky about oil pressure, and will shut of the fuel if it gets just a little bit low. I certainly won’t claim to be an expert, but this truck has been a head scratcher after mostly dealing with the the 8.3 cummins and it’s 4 cylinder sibling. When it’s working, it pulls hard with all manner of load behind it, and starts just fine in -30 (if it’s had the block heater plugged in), but man, that laundry list of accumulated problems that led to it being abandoned has been a journey. One year I might even summon the strength to pull the turbo and un-disable the exhaust valve under the turbo that’s currently wired open. One year. When I feel like I don’t get any more enjoyment from bashing my head against a wall. Best of luck with yours.

I'm in New Zealand 🇳🇿 but in the 70's and 80's I lived in London and drove 18 wheelers in England and Europe for 5 years. Now snow and ice looks good on calenders and post cards. The salt on the roads stuffs every thing and turns New vehicles into balls of rust in no time. You can take those weather conditions and shove em where the sun doesn't shine. Like what you and yours have done though. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the summer where you are. Today here was 22degrees and that's F not C.

Your right on a weather boundary right now. There's a big plume of cold air coming down from the arctic meeting a big plume of warm air coming up from the equator and it's meeting right over the central USA. So you've got freezing wintery conditions meeting tropical air. It's playing havoc with the weather. It's because the jet streams slowed down so much so I've heard.

Seeing you go up on the roof, made me uneasy because snow is slippery and people fall. This is just a suggestion, if you can build 2 permanent small one person scaffolding on opposite sides of the building out of wood to go up to the roof and maybe from the scaffolding you can build a bridge with a railing that would lead from one side of the roof to the other so when you have to get up there, you will be safe. I know it's easier said than done and snow has no boundaries, but it just might help so you will have somewhere to hold on to securely.

My mother used to burn pieces of wood in our fireplace that my father had cut up from scraps he picked up here and there. Some of it had nails in it. One time when I was quite young I decided that I could help my neighbor by putting the ashes on her inclined driveway when it snowed one time. I didn't realize and didn't think that the ashes might have nails in them. Apparently there were quite a few but I was focused on helping my neighbor. Not too long after that my mother heard from our neighbor after she had multiple flat tires and had figured out why and where the ashes came from. I don't know what kind of settlement was made with the neighbor. I guessed my well meaning topped my stupidity in my mother's eyes. Anyway, I didn't hear anymore about it but I never put ashes on a driveway again.

whatever happened to the firewood cart that Heath built out of an antique railway luggage/ freight cart. It looked awesome. Assume you simply found that it was too big for the house? Also, every fall, you should stockpile a 10 yard load of sand beside the driveway , That gives you a source to toss on the driveway to help with the ice, and in the spring. it just becomes part of the gravel.

Cedar’s joke was funnier the way she delivered it than the joke as it was written. LOL.

Heath, never fear Alvin is here, would be cool if you had two plows on both trucks and you and Rhett could tag team the snow alot faster just a suggestion , take care bud, Alvin
