Series tied at 1-1 as Montreal winning the day before sends in rookie RHP Tavo Alvarez starts for Expos and LHP Kent Mercker for the Braves. Expos pick up a run in the 4th inning on a solo Homerun from 2B Mike Lansing (9) then a run in the 5th, on back to back doubles from CF Rondell White and 1B David Segui. Mercker goes 5 complete innings and replaced by RHP reliever Brad Clontz to pitch the 6th inning as the Expos have a 1 run lead as Braves get a run in the bottom of the 5th on a RBI double from C Javy Lopez.
Expos have a one run lead heading into the bottom of the 9th Inning with closer RHP Mel Rojas taking over for RHP Tim Scott. Braves waste no time scoring the tying run on a sac-fly RBI from RF Mike Kelly as we move into extra innings. Bobby Cox brings in LHP Pedro Borbon to pitch the 10th as the Expos knock in a run, on a RBI single from RF Yamil Benitez bringing in Rondell White who doubled giving Montreal the lead yet again. But in the Braves 10th, another dramatic walk off win and a game winning 2 RBI single from CF Mike Devereaux giving the Braves another come-from-behind win and taking the 3 game series from the Expos 2-1 in the last week of the 1995 season. Pedro Borbon with the win (2-2) and Dave Leiper with the loss. (0-2)
