I went to the valley sleep center in late 2020 via zoom call. Didn’t like the doctor. He basically just prescribed clonazepam after like 2 seconds and I really didn’t like the way he went about it and it removed my desire to go through any treatment. I don’t take drugs
Very informational. I have had RBD since childhood and started passing out at 16. Finally dx'd with PAF at 46. It is so puzzling to try to put all the info together. The RBD is the worst as sleep is very hard to get and even harder to stay asleep.
Hi, I sometimes talk in my sleep and move ,but doesn't necesarily occur during REM sleep. I have a sleep monitor that also monitors my movement, heart rate, respitory etc and noticed I move a bit. Also when I wake up I need to urinate and mainly that's how I wake up most of the time..
I watched this video and was very interested I would love to know if you have any comment on children that developed this rem sleep disorder and have carried it through their entire life. In my case I've had it ever since I can remember. And it continues to this day. I have never had a diagnosis on any major disease but I wonder if this could happen as a result of a traumatic car accident I was involved in as a child. I believe I went untreated from the car accident. I saw the sleep study slide about cats and having certain issues with their brains and thought I wonder if humans could have the same from an injury? Do you think that's possible?
