    What is the weather look like in Grand Canyon around December and January? Would like to go by the beginning of Winter but I'm afraid it might get cold

    • @GOGlobeHopper
      @GOGlobeHopper  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We apologize that we didn't see your question much, much sooner. Likely this answer does not help you now that summer is upon us, but just in case you didn't go and are considering it for next year instead, here you go... The biggest benefit to visiting the Grand Canyon during the winter months is the lack of crowds, plus the weather is much cooler. In December and January, average daytime temperatures reach 45°F (7°C), and drop to 18°F (-8°C) at night, so it can get quite cold. Late December is when the Canyon experiences the largest amount of snow. So, for safety reasons, some of the tours mentioned in the video, such as trail rides, will shut down.

    What about Phantom Ranch. And just plain hiking trails. Sometimes simple is the best.

    would 200 dollars be enough to experience it all? I know covid may have affected some of those activities. reply if you can.

    • @GOGlobeHopper
      @GOGlobeHopper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Due to the pandemic, this is a very complicated question as the protocol is changing rapidly. To our knowledge, Grand Canyon National Park is open, however with respect to each attraction, some are open, some are partially open, some have restrictions, and some are closed. Does $200 apply to a single adult? If so, it might be possible to check off 4 or 5 things on this list, but definitely not all of them. Just to give you an idea, if you are considering the Mule Ride, that alone is $153 for a single rider, Bearizona is $25 for a single person, Sky Walk would be $59 in total, etc. It is better for you to look up each activity individually based on when you wish to visit.

    What’s the cheapest way to enjoy the Grand Canyon? Reply pls.

    • @GOGlobeHopper
      @GOGlobeHopper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      This is very difficult to answer without knowing your specific circumstances (e.g. Where are you coming from? How are you getting to the canyon? How many people in your party? etc). If you only want to see the canyon, then the cheapest way is to enter Grand Canyon National Park by car (since you pay per vehicle not per person). Once in the park, you can walk and sightsee at your own leisure, you do not need a guide. There are plenty of free hiking trails and access to the Yavapai Geology Museum is included in your entrance fee to the park. Most of the things we have listed in our video will cost. If you are looking to save money, our advice is to avoid the Sky Walk. The glass floor of the bridge is definitely unique, but far better views can be seen from the south rim. Also, avoid customized tours, especially to Monument Valley, as they tend to be pricey due to the long distance from the canyon. If you have a car, it is undoubtedly cheaper to do this side trip on your own. We hope this helps!

    Hello how mucho is for the helicopter per person ?

    • @clarasamuelthomas
      @clarasamuelthomas ปีที่แล้ว

      Something like 600$

    • @GOGlobeHopper
      @GOGlobeHopper  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Helicopter tours vary in price depending on the operator and the tour you choose; obviously, longer tours cost more. The average price per person starts at $225 (USD) Also, due to the current price of aviation fuel, some operators have added a surcharge. For more information, check out these tour companies: www.maverickhelicopter.com/tour-listing/grand-canyon OR www.papillon.com/.
