    Just got my C64 hooked up with a WiModem and a Pi1541. I love retrocampus, especially as an Italian-American cause I can use both news sections 😜. Flying at 2400 baud.
    Thank you for this video! I don't know how I would've done all that without it

    I setup something similar on my BBS. You can read Clownfish TV, Geeks and Gamers as well as Bleeding Fool. I should add some more.

    Quick feedback, the audio is really quiet. Even with system volume at 100%. I know it's an old video so maybe this has been addressed. Just an fyi.

      Appreciate the feedback. Audio quality is something I am always working on. I have since got a better mic, but still have room for improvement.

    I just got the last parts in to get my C16 running alongside my Plus/4, and I'm going to try and get them online at 9600 baud, since that's what my old XT PC could get online at.
    Then I'll chat all the time!

      Using these systems online is a lot of fun!

      @@RetroTechorDie I just got my modem and got the C128 up and running! having trouble over 2400 baud yet, but I haven't dug into it yet.

      @@realchef_tom I usually have issues over 300 baud. I mean not like I need the speed.

      @@RetroTechorDie Once I got the Wifi Modem set for 2400, it seems to work nearly perfectly now.

      Just posted this link on Twitter #MiSTerFPGA , imagine turning on the MiSTer and this nice clean text “BBS MiSTer” pop’s up with news related only to FPGA, sounds so sweet.

    what's the baud rate here ? cool vid btw

    • @RetroTechorDie
      @RetroTechorDie  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! Most is 300, but CCGMS has many options.

      CCGMS handles 300 to 2400 with no problem. The WiModem also supports 9600 through the Up9600 hack and I believe the later CCGMS versions support that. I usually run 2400, sometimes 1200 with no issues. 300 baud for me is too painful even if it is nostalgic. I didn't like 300 baud even back when that was all I had in the early 80s. 😉
