I've been watching all your stuff and mv videos I can find. I just picked up a used MV-8800 for an insane price and I'll be checking it out this weekend. What do you think of the base features? I'm going to upgrade the drive to an SSD and Max the RAM next week.
I appreciate that! Thank you!! I know the prices on the Roland MV 8000 & 8800 are a lot less than an MPC 1000. Which is crazy to me, the workflow is not much different from an MPC same idea just different layout. I think the base features are more than enough but mos def upgrading to an SSD for a tad bit quicker loading times and RAM are a must without a doubt planning on doing that to mine soon.
