This is more micro in one battle than I do in an entire 150 turn campaign.
Just started playing Rome 2 again and this is the standard Parthian campaign
I had absolutely zero idea how to use Slaanesh, but now I do after spending some time with noble horses
@@TheOriginalPoon Parthian campaign is so much fun, especially in DEI. Love me cataphracts, love me grivpanvar. Lots of fun dismantling slow moving, defensive greek hoplites. Same tactics used here as when massively outnumbered, AI simply can't deal with you threatening charges and just the overall defeat in detail strategy.
he turned this into warcraft 3 LoL
I like how the Balance of Power bar went from 40% to 100%, as if the AI got sick of fighting and gave up.
Auto-loss automatically activates if one side loses 80% of the troops while the enemy is intact.
the ai actually do that, i had a wh2 battle where the enemy lord wouldn't die so i was kiting and shooting, when all of a sudden army losses hit and they broke and disintegrated
Yeah, anything but an unbreakable unit will automatically route when army losses kicks in.
Imagine your massive army is fighting and losing to a small handful of other wordly demons who you cant seem to even scratch. i'd freak out and run
I've been playing Skrag, and sieges have the entire garrison and reinforcements just keel over and die from the shameful display of losing a game of capture the flag to ogre ninjas.
This tactic drops the enemy moral.
Of course, the problem is, the patience needed for this tactic drops my real life moral, faster than the enemy's in game moral.
What challenge would you like to see next?
I'm not doing disaster battles but I'll happily accept "Impossible" challenges if this vid does well.
It would be fun to see you try and take out as many patriarchs on bears as possible with Ogre kingdoms. Preferably with some shitty units like gnobblar trappers.
the game is a bit boring as it is, maybe wait for immortal realms ?
When mortal empires come out, try once again this is total war as Franz. Right now, maybe making male dragon sibling as powerfull as possibile? He is so overshadowed by his sister...
@@MonCompteTubulaire What difference does it make during battles?
@@MonCompteTubulaire bitching about new game, doesnt make you look cool, so chill out
This is super impressive but god if I had to play every battle like this in a campaign I would drop the game so fast lol.
Typical Bretonnia crusade in the Araby be like 😹
this is quite easy, all about having mobility and slow ass opponents units. IA isn't smart enough to split its units.
@@Eri4Jp U want to separate their units and overwhelm them with your forces 👍
Whats more insane about this is that not only is he hugely outnumbered but all the enemy units are theoretically hard counters (spears, halberds) to what he has (Cav & Large). He just stacks leadership damage so hard and fast that it doesnt matter. Very impressive
And hits from the rear first. Then puts the others innonce the u it isn't braced enough
I never have the stamina to play like this. So impressive
It's pretty chill with slow motion. Using your skill in those situations are the best battles of total war!
@@mcmarkmarkson7115 idk man, it would take quite a few hours to do this in slo mo.
@@CheekiTiki don't need perma slow Mo just to give orders, not the slow grind
@@mcmarkmarkson7115 fair enough
Exalted Keepers are also stupendously powerful in SP, and when I brewed up Eaxlted of each in the Daniel campaign it was the Keeper that was easily the most powerful. More importantly, he's hugely fun to use thanks to huge power and dying very quickly if you screw up, instead of the boring nature of most mega-Lords.
Slaanesh was my first campaign, and both N'kari and the Exalted KoS I got later were insanely fun to use. Slaanesh overall is quite fun cause either you feel like a 5head winning a battle through proper means of flanking and using your units and magic, or things go bad, but it's not dragged out and you can usually know what went wrong as it takes just one bad mistake than other factions that are more forgiving.
0:48 That maneuver was impressive
You reall do need a lot of stamina to be a servant of Slaanesh
I see a lot of people saying that they couldn't do this without suffering.
As a slaaneshi player myself, I do this almost every battle.
It never gets old.
Watching four armies that out power me into the sky being brought down by Slaanesh's finest never gets old.
Nice. Reminds me of picking apart dwarf warrior stacks with 4 eagle riders in Pavaron defensive battles.
Enjoyed this. Both the music and the savage lethality...
This man is a true legend of total war
Defeat in detail tactics at it's best.
Imagine if you had an exalted lawnmower too
Loved to do that with ushabti against longbeard stacks in WH2
Doing something like that with ushabti is pretty impressive
Doing something like that against longboards, known for their pseudo-unbreakable nature, is impressive.
Yeah i stacked a whole lotta buffs, but it was so cost effective since the ushabti building is tier 3 and can be built in every region, only a bit tedious since the battles took a while
Man this channel has such fresh and unique content. Really enjoying it
The only reason the AI can handle strong single entities from my experience is if half their army consists of ranged units and they just pepper your lords and heroes dead
I know this is more of a "feat" than anything else, but since watching your shorts and streams my micro/battle planning in general has gotten so much better, and I feel way more confident attempting battles the computer say's I'll lose!
When you have speed and a dumb ai that can't keep formation anything is possible
most impressive disaster battle ive seen in 3, truly awesome
I knew that you were a great tourney player, but I didn't realize that you were an even better campaign troller. A true master at work.
Legend does this strategy every other day in disaster battles/livestreams. Glad other people are drawing attention to it, it's exhausting but has saved my ass many times. It's a good principle to remember in general that the AI is extremely vulnerable to defeat in detail strategies. Speed is the cheesiest stat.
"But Enticity, that's cheeeese!"
This is awesome man thank you for sharing this
Slannesh: Just like I like it big and strong and stupid
Just wonderful, mesmerizing, amazing, stunning performance from the fastest bois
Reminds me of playing steppe nomads in earlier TW titles
This was really impressive!
Nicely done. Holy crap.
Absolute madlad
I saw the thumbnail and thought this was a LoTW disater battle at first lol
Reminds me of cavalry tactics from Atilla. Scout Equites for the win.
The Reiksguard with it's 66 speed is jealous
Reminds me of M2TW using General's Bodyguards to cycle charge when there are no other units left
Volound had similar video about Shogun 2 where he used few light cavalry to defeat full samurai stack
Thats awesome! Liked my slaanesh camplaing because of shenanigans like this
slaaneshenanigans
'Legend of Total War here, and today...'
I imagine it's easier with the exalted chariot non exalted versions of the lords since they have perfect vigor.
Wait you LOSE perfect vigor when exhalting?
My angel and demon
Angel:" What a strategy."
Demon:" AI sucks."
Yes, this would never work against a competent opponent.
This is the essence of what makes Slaanesh so powerful. Outmaneuver, divide and conquer. Isolate and devour
Yes, that's why I won half of Slaanesh's army against 3 elite armies of Kislev under siege
Is this the new Legend of Total Cav, giving the enemy horse sandwitches?
Honestly if it wasn’t for wh3 having an absurdly hardcore tilt to a ranged meta Slannesh would undoubtedly be the strongest army in the game. The high speed of their entire roster lets you just run circles around the enemy melee infantry and anything that isn’t cav will never catch you.
This is what the autoresolver does if you were playing the Cathay side & autoresolving.
This is the fastest LegendOfTotalwar video I've ever seen :DDD
Legend has competition
Wow. Defeat in detail
Wow the Kraken king is on fire !
WOW that was really impressive
Yrridian would be proud.
Now that's impressive!!!!
TWW AI is like that guy in the horror movie that insists on splitting up when they start getting picked off one by one
Goddamn you have a lot of patience.
“Divide and conquer”
Earned my like and my sub for that one
Player fatigue: exhausted
Slaanesh, the Alans of Warhammer
Wow, that was impressive
I do quite enjoy such mirco.
My shit-boxes ain't gonna cut it for this one.
This. Is. Beautiful...
Dude if you would make these trailer songs into mix video, i would definitely listen to it during battles.
Man, kudos to you 💜💙💚
Uh, it's a crapton of melee only slow-moving units and Nakari heals. If you don't value your time atall, it's perfectly doable.
And those are like, the perfect 3 units to do it with too.
The classic Horse sandwich
Oh, this Hunnic tactics from Attila...
Now try this on a minor settlement siege battle map
I lack the patience or autism to do that, but props to the ones who can.
great job)
I know the lord is an exalted Keeper of Secrets, and the 3rd unit is fiends of Slaanesh, but what's the 2nd unit?
Looks like Heartseekers of Slaanesh, the mounted Exalted Daemonette unit.
Damn that's something
Just like simulations!
Alternative title: How to get 9 ranks of experience in one battle.
Holy. Cow.
"OH CAVALRY SO WEAK I MISS THE ATTILA DAAAYS"
say what now?
I didn't know the Huns are in total war warhammer 3 as well
That is damn impressive
What impressive is how bad the AI is.
@@Limrasson the ai isn’t that bad, we as the players are just really good at exploiting how it reacts to certain scenarios like slowing a unit down by charging it but pulling away at the last second
@@scarletcroc3821 Which means that the AI is bad. And also the AI is terrible everywhere as well. (They literally just send in all their flying units on every siege to die, because the fastest path to the capture point is a straight line)
Not only should the AI be able to adapt to player tactics and counter them, but it should do it in a variable scale (simulating better and worse army commanders) AND in a way that the different lords have different styles (so skaven care not for friendly fire, while let's say, elven units avoid it at all cost)
@@Limrasson what you’re asking for is basically impossible, and you’re just wrong. The ai cannot adapt to changes that happen in milliseconds.
How is it supposed to know whether something is a feint charge or a real charge? Would you rather it never braces its troops at all? Should it never chase units and always stay in the same formation no matter what?
Does the ai have dumb moments? Absolutely. But it also has smart moments like pulling through your front line with monsters to attack your archers. Send flying units over your front line to attack your artillery. The ai is much smarter than you think, because you’re somehow convinced that it’s bad because it can’t predict the future.
@@Limrasson The thing you write is AI which is imposible to reach and if some company achive it the would not sell video games, the would sell AI program
Even chess that is much simpler then warhammer tooked ears ro develop to be on human level (then ofc much better)
The programming for warhammer AI to be close as human would be NASA level planing with enormous budget
SImple unachievable
thats why speed is one if not the best stat in the game
I expected some pendoleum shenanigans but you dont even have magic. Damn thats impressive.
Napoleon would be proud.
It's all fun and games till your cav is the 70 speed empire knights
The lords an heros stats feel broken .. can pretty much have a doom stack with only those units
That is some next level cheese.
That's one dead sexy profile pic, chief.
similar to some disaster battles
Yep... Cathay needs some buffing
Really strong Attila Huns vibe here
beautiful devide and destroy,If I may say
You just saved the internet.
I guess this hows us that Fiends are not that good when compared with Hearthseekers
and this kids is why you never skip micro day
Step 1: find a cliff
Step 2: kick them down
Step 3: profit
LegendofTotalCheese approves
Это,скорее сила Слаанеш в уроне в спину,скорости и бронебойности.
Even for Legend, this would be too chessy.
the sheer amount of sweat...
my wrist broke just by watching this
What's the second music he uses ?
Cathay units: shiiiiiiiii-
another reason to why slaanesh is OP as all hell
