Why the hell would you spoil the game in your review ?? Guess I'll just start skipping to the review scores as well...
IGN isn't really that trustworthy anymore so you're better off waiting for reviews from youtubers anyway.
This developer reject Epic Games. Thats a 10/10 in my heart. I already bought the game

The puzzles are so easy, there really is no harm in spoiling them. Come on, this game is trivial.
@@robosoap2857 It has interesting gloomy vibe to it, but puzzles are very easy and you sort of breeze through it.
I remember the dev posting a clip of this game on reddit, at that time I really wished it would materialize into a game. I am really happy for the dev that it all worked out, it's such an awesome concept and incredible visuals.
I forgot reviews include spoiling numerous puzzles and jump scares. Thanks IGN

Stopped watching and skipped to the end when ign kept giving puzzle solutions (watched the first one).. Really bad review
All these people saying it should get a higher score just because it was made by one person dont understand that they review the quality not the effort. That being said it looks very impressive for one person.

You forgot to mention that DARQ was made by one dude. By far its biggest selling point, and well worth the praise...

Why was the final score a 7.5? The way he expressed his thoughts about the game made it seem like at least an 8/8.5. 7 and a half is too low, in my opinion. Also, splendid work spoiling multiple puzzles for the game in a review. What more could you expect from IGN?
This deserves an 8.5 cause it's a great effort made by a solo dev

Epic contacted this Developer concerning his game. They denied him access to sell in their store because he didn't want to sell his game exclusively on their site🤦♂️.

here's my review
darq is a game with a stunning art style and amazing puzzles (even if they're easy) the game was made by one guy and it took 3.5 years to create so yeah no wonder its short it has 7 chapters each just the right length and it has 2 free dlc chapters! so... 10/10 fantastic game!

Here's a faster review with no spoilers of puzzles: go play Little Nightmares instead. It's a better game and much creepier without a lame, non-ending.
Also Little Nightmares is more than 90 minutes long for a $20 title. (Yeah, I dunno wtf the Campbell was doing for 4 hours cause it took me a just under 90 minutes.)
It has a little something for everyone.
