Boycott Consultancies. If you think you can work, live and study abroad, then why can't you do all the processing by yourself? Why do you need a third party to do all the work for you. This is where all these scams comes into picture. Be independent and confident enough to do everything by yourself. The moment you take a step in foreign land, there won't be anyone to help you. so why do you need help now??
You are right, we can self apply to the european countries but there are few countries which don't accept direct apply, university itself says take help from the consultancy.

that is easy to say but you need some sort of guidance from experts for such tasks. one of my neighbours did this till offer letter for finland later he took help from consultancy for further process

Most of the consultancies are dodgy, but we have to blame ourselves and society too & money is never enough, the whole economy in the world is too expensive . I am in sydny right now as student doing masters and that fund u show, really has a meaning to survive here. South Asian countries are suffering the most as the financial documents are fake. Australians wants super rich students, no financially poor students !! That's what Australian government wants.Bitter Truth Guys
I guess problem is neither consultancy nor the university, going abroad and living a dream life is so much engraved in our daily life that a normal person living a normal life with even decent salary at some point will feel like going abroad is better than staying with bare minimum salary and other people who earn way less than their qualifications and skills are already on line to get degree from foreign university to live a better life .

This exposes the biggest cancer in Nepali society. Lack of critical thinking. Students who have had decent education till plus 2 still fall for this. Finding out about universities or even job opportunities in some country has literally never been easier. But very few think independently. They just follow what other people are doing. As long as people are willing to follow other people blindly, these kind of scams will exist - not just in education, in employment, religion etc. These kind of scams would never work in a country like US or Australia. And that’s the real difference in education between Nepal and developed countries. People here don’t question anything.

आफैं apply गर्दा university ले खासै राम्रो response गर्दैन। त्यसरी जस्ले पनि apply गर्ने हो र select हुने हो भने त कुनै पनि consultancy बाकी हुदैन नेपाल्भरि।
मैले poland को embassy लाई message गरेको १५ दिन भयो document verification को लागि no response जबकी युनिभर्सिटी को deadline सिद्धिसक्यो।
जब university लाई नै agent चाइएको छ हामीले लाख कोसिस गरौँ हामी consultancy कै भर पर्न बाध्य छौ र भैरहन्छौ।

I FIND IT THE FUNNIEST PART OF THIS CONSULTANCY SCAMS IS, These Students who are scholar and have learnt till High School, (or as so i believe looking at the really poor education system), can really research themselves and apply themselves. Having a really English-Literate Country, it really saddens how Nepali Young Youths leave the country drained and really stupid.
(*doesn't necessarily mean to not go, going outside is also really good option to learn and explore more.)

Students should do their own research about the university they want to go for the course they are interested in. If they give the decision about their course and institution to the consultancy, people are prone to get a bad experience. In the current scenario there are great consultancies which are renowned. So, students should choose those consultancies. Do your research before taking any decision.
People don't say how much they earn, what the access they have got. Opposite, we audience are here to listen their debt issues, health issue etc etc.

The allure of studying abroad has been overly glamorized by misleading success stories, often shared by foreign students. These stories usually highlight only the successful ones, while the many who struggle or fail are rarely mentioned. Students should consider studying abroad only with clear objectives and proper planning. Don't pursue education abroad merely because of its glamorization or the deglamorization of studying in Nepal.
Also it's disheartening to see the state of the education system in Nepal, but it can only be improved if students unite and have the will to change. If we don't strive for change, it will only continue to decline.
I had a same experience last year
After I completed my plus 2 I immediately tried for australia through ved international education consultancy here in ktm. They applied me to a university claiming it was one of the best with higher success rate but after applying I got to know that the university was in blacklist ko Australia high commision. Along with this they carelessly did my documentation and processing and also made me complete my documentation very rapidly without proper time frame with so many errors which ultimately led to a rejection and a lot of money waste .

Actually he is promoting a startup that recommends certified and experienced consultancies so that students don't get scammed. He's promoting a website rather than consultancy.
