I been following STEEZ stuff since 2012. This was by far the most detailed, and finally someone painted us a picture of his journey using every piece of evidence we have. Towards the end this got hard to watch, I never knew about the stussy colab and store, wish I would’ve went. I was from Jersey

    • @KingMucho
      @KingMucho 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

I'm not even trying to be rude to start an argument here but I find it absolutely impossible that you've been following Steve since 2012 and have not heard about the stussy collab or store incident there's no f****** way you're a fan I did not know that like absolutely no f****** way literally days before he died was talking about how he wants to die in front of his friends how would you not have heard about that there's no way you're a real fan there's no way a real fan should not know about that

Super cool to see a doc on STEEZ in 2024. I'm less than halfway through and I've learned a lot I didn't know, even though I consider myself a huge fan of the dude. Happy New Year and keep up the good work.

Been a PE fan since the Survival Tactics video dropped in February 2012. This is a really well done documentary man. I also wish you could’ve showed STEEZ’s posts on Social Media as it really showed some insight into what was on his mind at the time, but I think you covered it very well for people who weren’t around during that era. I hope this gets a million views because it’s about time that one of my favorite rappers who influenced me on my musical journey will finally get his shine.

    LONG LIVE CAPITAL STEEZ.
My name “Steelokey” is partially a tribute to him.
Although it originated from the “1996” song “Steelo” by the group 702. Cause I was born in Vegas in 96 haha & my name is Steven L. But he was one of my biggest influences when I started writing before I started recording.

I’m only 20 minutes in cuz I’m watching it in 10 minute intervals when I take breaks as I fix my car. But man, this got me reminiscing on my highschool years & wanting to go download all my old steez music from my old computer so I can bump it in my car once it’s fixed. It’s sad a lot of it is not on streaming platforms except TH-cam & SoundCloud 😢 although he woulda probably preferred thatz

As a huge fan of STEEZ myself, and as someone who has done probably as much research on his life and career, I’ve gotta say this was very well done. A true deep dive. A bit more for anyone interested, Isaa Gold from The Underachievers made a comment under the music video for their track “Herb Shuttles” debunking any conspiracy theories while also positing the question why fans didn’t hold STEEZ with such reverence while he was still with us. The comment is still up to this day, though you may have to scroll to find it. Another very telling account from someone close to STEEZ came in the form of a track titled “Spirit of STEEZ” by Dyme A Duzin, an early inspiration and collaborator or STEEZ. Dyme speaks on his friend’s mental state by saying “homie told me he was so caught up in the studies, felt like he was Satan/ Really ain’t know how to take it”. Dyme also threw shots at Joey saying “I know that prodie a con, can tell by the way that he dress and his aura”, “Couldn’t beef with a 🥷’s fam and then wear his image on my chain/ Could’ve been a unit but they moving senseless, look how 🥷’s switch up for the change” & “Put you in the ground for thinking you PAC”. Dyme doesn’t name Joey specifically here (though he has in the past) but there is enough context in these lines for anyone who knows to put it together. There was also STEEZ tumblr account which had him replying to lots of questions from fans, though that may be inactive at this point. If anyone can find it, maybe they can link it. Just wanted to add some more. Thanks again for this 👊🏽ㄣ⃒

Isaa Gold is full of 💩. The fact of the matter is that Joey Badass met up with Jay Z, a known Crowley fanatic and Satanist, and after that Steez unalives himself (if he really did it to himself). The dots are not hard to connect, Joey Badass is clearly a wicked individual who very likely would sell out even his best friend for fame.

Joey is right, Steez could see through him... and just knew... that shit stinky as hell but couldn't quite figure that one out... Joey's story before and after is no puzzle, he did even still shows his true colors about about what happened... the "survivor's guilty", putting up some show...

I read into the things his family would say over the years after his death, and its beginning to seem suspicious… it seems like cinematic is behind it and the mystery of it… why would they tell all members to check prospect park? Essentially deterring them from the building?? Why was his family denied a private investigator? Why were they not allowed to see his body? and why did they not allow his family to see him one last time before his burial because it was a forced open casket? Why did the police not look deeper into it? Why was it that at the same time members of the group were at prospect looking for him, detectives were already knocking on the door of Steez’s mom’s home to report his death? Shits just not adding up it seems like Cinematic made his death seem mysterious so that fingers will be pointed in different directions instead of them… and now look, Joey be taking the blame to this day…. Its just off…they probably had detectives and NYPD officers under their payroll to cover up critical details revealing what Really happened… call me fuckin crazy all you want, but the rap game is a brutal scene and record labels do a lot of shady shit and never get caught

Steez was the ab soul of pro era, im not comparing their rap skills but just their situations in the industry, they are both lyrical and rhyme geniuses, and they were both extremely intelligent when it came to the spiritual world, and they were both heavily overlooked by their labels…
Imagine if Steez and Ab soul dropped a song together….

Rip steez I still listen to the flatbush zombies now I remember being like 12 in 2012 listening to survival tactics.
It's a damn shame we've lost so much talent in our generation.
Every other generation hates gen z.
    We've been fucked royaly.

Part of me is mad at the Pro Era guys for being getting Steez more help and almost just “accepting” his suicidal ideation but then I remind myself they were just kids especially in late 2000s to early 2010s people weren’t educated on mental health/suicide signs back then and there weren’t as many mental health resources as there are nowadays

    Such a shame man.
I can’t stand people who try to act like it’s not a fact that he committed suicide. It’s so disrespectful to not only Steez, but his friends; who these people accuse of colluding in or directly taking part in his death.
A collab project with Steez and Chuck would’ve been amazing.

    he was right.
look around. look at life right now. STEEZ was right.
it's crazy how Griselda brought back the golden age the way Pro Era was expected to.

Ion know if anyone ever thought of this but he says in the video that STEEZ once described himself as an indigo child, and funny enough Joey Badass’s daughters name is Indigo. Not sure if that’s where Joeys Inspiration came from to name his daughter 🤔
