I have Venus in Scorpio and one other Scorpio placement and this is SO TRUE, also Cancer rising & Pisces in Saturn. I retreat ALOT. I suspect that your chart is influenced by other signs if you get "bored" by niceness and don't care about a partner's interest in politics (on which our society is created!) and charitable work. Well, Scorpios do not want to be vulnerable. Although they are water like us and express a lot of feelings when they are close to you they will never want to be really vulnerable in front of anyone and this was a very vulnerable position for him. From my personal experience however, NO! My last ex was an Aquarius, she was quite impervious, although open-minded. I had the capacity to love her for a lifetime, I treated her like a princess!
