Yesss I love watching your blitz tournaments! I finished making my way down the blitz tournaments playlists just the other day, so it's perfect timing for another! Please keep these coming!
I’ve been away from chess for years. It just wasn’t fun anymore and I missed that. But listening to your joy ad humility has gotten me back. Thanks Jerry and keep up the good work!
Jerry has evolved into the Bob Ross of chess. His more recent streams are very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. A pleasant way to spend my lunch breaks, thank you.
I played you in the 9th game of this tournament! You demolished me. I’ve been trying to learn the London System. I clearly have more work to put in. Thanks for the game and thanks for the videos!
gg Greg. e3 reinforces your strongpoint d4....c3 reinforces your strongpoint d4....and dxc gives away your strongpoint d4 which makes, to a certain degree, both e3 and c3 not so purposeful. Just a quick thing to be mindful of. 😎
I really think 3 mins is likely the best time control for videos like this. It makes for great action. Stay healthy Jerry! Thanks for the upload of this tournament
This game at 39:30 was a lot of fun, felt bad for the nice rook maneuver then Jerry at the end messing rook and king mate a bit makes me feel a lot better about my chess xD
It's often nice to watch it, I learn from the middle game ideas, but I'm so surprised by poor endgame playing. I've been teaching chess for more than 40 years and one of the first lessons is how to mate with a K & a R. It's a very basic technique and somehow they don't use it and losing games or just get a draw because they apparently don't know how to mate. It's so incredible simple: a white K on a3, black R on b5 and black K on c3. White plays K a4-a5. In almost all the played games I see two variations: either they play the R to a safe place on the b-line or the play Kc4 to protect the rook. However the only good move is keeping the R on the 5th line (of course not a5) but any other field is good.. You force the white K to go back to a3 and next move R a5++o I see so often that they are playing very well...till they have to mate, in general they still have very limited time and then I see from the same position as above, they are running and running and suddenly out of time and loosing while it was so simple to mate in only two moves..and every time I'm yelling at my screen: "Move that R back! not aside! an let your K in the good position!!!" It doesn't help, so I had ot write it down. This what we teach the children in the first second lesson!
TCEC super final has now ended, including a lot a positional and non draw games, even a black and white win of the same opening by LC0 (On the French) waiting now for the best chess channel to react in video (your channel).
Hey Jerry there's sth in my mind I couldn't get out I was trying to find an old video of yours. I forgot the players but the result is white using a ton of minor piece to crush black and you said it in a very hilarious way. I have been finding that video for an hour still couldnt locate it
I have to admit that I was rooting for acsilva... that's gotta be a highlight of their chess-playing life. I think I'd retire from chess after landing that fork... and then finishing it off! I know I'd have screwed it up!
At the end Nf4+ into rook check isnt mate as your knight is unprotected but I think theres Nf4+ into Ng2+! followed by Be2++ unless I'm missing something. Pretty cool position.
Hey Jerry thanks for the content. Would it be possible for you to put both your voice and video like Eric Rosen does? That would create a better dynamic both for the viewer and also for popularity of your channel. Thanks.
For each win you get a base score of 2 points. Once you win three in a row you win 4 points instead. At the start of each game you have the opportunity to “berserk” meaning you half your time, but if you win you score an additional tournament point, meaning that if you have won three or more in a row, and then berserk, you will receive 5 points for that win. Hope that helps

1:31:00 it is not mate yet because the King can capture the knight
Still wonderful content Jerry!

Happy to see you again Online, 3 or 4 years ago, I used to be addicted to your Chesscube tournaments.

You're going to stay a bad player if you insist on the London System.

@@ParisDorn159 Why?
I love your commentary. To be honest. Funny. Easy to understand. Lovely man. Audible too.
Thank you 😎
It takes me a week to watch these tournaments. I love every minute.
"Man, that guy has wheels.. I forgot, I forgot about that guy having, having so many wheels"
ahhah hilarious! Good match, that one.
I love that calculation at 1:00:54. Well played Jerry!

I learn so much from Jerry!
Awesome attitude and gameplay.
AlphaZero plays against Black's light-squared bishop, Jerry plays against Black's light-squared knight.
Hope you’re well, Jerry! This video is well needed.
Great! Just what I needed right now. I really need to tune into the streams more often.
1:13:44 He knew not to take the Queen, but he didn't know why. Didn't see your threat and got punished for it, very entertaining game!
1:13:58 I think there was Qxf7 :)
Enjoying another one of your videos

wake up chessnetwork - tilted Tuesday is starting now!! you are the best tilted commentator out there!
Where have you been :( I miss your game analyses. I hope you’re staying safe
Love you, Jerry. Hope you’re proud of yourself! 😊
"I don't want queen exchange" - we don't hear it often :D
51:33 "asking to get a fork"... then ignores rook fork 🙂

Jerry I miss the old look of the pieces ;_; any chance those are coming back?
Thank you Jerry for another video! Stay safe!
Great content! Keep these up! And stay safe :)
Nice jerry you got the 5th place!

It's not a game in the Championship
That's a big daddy fork right there. Keep your head up next time Jerry.

Still love you

Don’t think you had mate in the position you showed right at the end, as the king can just take the knight. Wild game indeed though, great video!
jerry is our hero
Great content jerry
Question! At 9:41, why does white not want to play knight d7? Cant see how its covered? Thanks
1:31:00 - 35. Kd3...Nf4+. 36. Ke3...Ng2+. 37. Kd3...Be2#. That would have been checkmate ;)
Would it be winning if Jerry played kg2 instead of Rxe2?
Game at 12:15, it seems like 12. f4 ... has some potential.
10:25 here is a fork :)
Brilliant.👍

Queems gambit declimed
Has Jerry's rating gone up a lot?
I don't understand the scoring. when can a player get 4 and 5 points for a game?

Gane 3, at least you can say you lost on time, instead of saying you had your ass handed to you!
Who else wants to fall asleep because of his voice?
6:07 bishop F7?

Man, do I have to get my paypal going just to throw you a dollar or 5? I'm even worse with that stuff then I am with chess, might take a while.
