very very well thought out and presented. I've been a fan of Mr Newman since the mary whitehouse experience radio shows..A comedy genius, he just shuns publicity
Newman is hard to understand, but totally worth it. I've listened to this and History of Oil 2 or 3 times all the way through, and I comprehend more each time.
"He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls controls the future." A complicated way of saying, "The winners write the history books." The people who control the present control the information we get about the past. Therefore they control public opinion about said information. If they control public opinion about what they tell you happened in the past, they can influence how you will act in the future. If they can do that then they win, no matter what.
sorry to nitpick dude it was Wembley Arena, if anyone filled the stadium they would have to be the funniest person on the planet to play to over 100,000 people at once
He lowered the bar. His name is James, James Cameron The bravest pioneer No budget too steep, no sea too deep Who's that? It's him, James Cameron James, James Cameron explorer of the sea With a dying thirst to be the first Could it be? Yeah that's him! James Cameron
I'm American. I'm not offended. We're just following the good example of our British cousins. When it comes to exploitation, cynicism, institutional racism and economic piracy it's difficult to live up the British standard.
@irishprice The major European powers are present in Iraqui and Afghani combat theaters because they all want a piece of the pie. Its not because of humanitarian concerns. There are unspeakable human rights abuses taking places in Darfur, North Korea, Niger, etc but since they don't have oil the western powers won't get involved. European powers also benefit from appalling labor conditions in China as well as tantalum exports from African conflict zones.
Definitely one of the best comedians out there. It's a crime that television producers live in fear of what Rob Newman say's.

Been listening to Rob Newman since the Radio 1 Mary Whitehouse days. Intelligent and challenging, but also very funny.

@Me401
We had. But then he dissapeared for a while and came back too political to be mainstream funny. I was a huge fan of his in the early '90s.
