My granddaddy H.D Cheek was chief dispatcher of the Clinchfield at Erwin until 1955. Played on the locomotives in the Erwin yard as they awaited scrapping. What fun. I had the biggest train set of any kid.
Do you have any videos of the Delaware, Lackawanna, and western railroad? Been looking around your channel for a while and couldn’t find any but would love to see some. Keep up the good work you’re doing!
Is this the same video that has footage of a ride on a speeder and the kids playing on a rope bridge? If so I had this same video on tape a long time ago.
