Honestly, shutting down my phone and then putting keelin videos on shuffle while cleaning or planning my week really helps me to battle anxiety and enjoy my grind, hehe
Honestly if I’m feeling bad I full on take myself on a walk like I’m my own pet who is anxious and whining - I’ve grown up with dogs and would never refuse one of them a walk when they’re giddy or stressed in the house because I understand how much it helps them .. extending the same favour to myself really helps, even when I think I don’t want to be outside. Loved this video :)
I feel you about the end of the world thing keelin. My anxiety about this started last year and at times I’ve felt so hopeless I was truly in belief we wouldn’t make it to Jan 2025. But here we are. Acceptance and commitment therapy is changing the game for me, I really recommend reading “the happiness trap” it sounds self helpy but it’s backed by research. It’s helped me to hear my catastrophic thoughts but not let them control me or dictate my day. It’s all about making peace for yourself and those around you. Love above all. Also what’s helped me is hearing the perspectives of older people online, and how the world has always always been a scary place of unrest. And it makes sense… have we had a utopian world before ? Not saying that we should accept all these things but at the same time, most of the problems in the world we face are out of our control and to that, we need to just live as peacefully and lovingly as possible. The news aims to get clicks, traction, and a reaction (period I just made that up- go off), so don’t let them have control over you!
everything you said resonated so much- ive been feeling the weight of the world from australia and its so hard to know when to stop looking/reading. being intentional when online seems to help x
Every single time I watch your videos I have a spine tingling, gut wrenching primal, ancestral, deep, deep rooted visceral want/ need/yearning/craving to have a baby but I digress..I’m too poor. Would love to hear an update on motherhood thus far since you didn’t take the ‘conventional’ route (ie. all your ducks in a row) there’s so much pressure for everything to be ‘perfect’ before having a baba especially in Ireland. You’re a breath of fresh air. (Only if ur comfortable ofc) 💕
George Orwell’s 1984 is amazing though! So is Animal Farm - I didn’t think I was into this genre but i actually think about these two books so often. With everything that’s going on in the world, I just remember 1984 and how applicable it is. I guess everyone has their own preferences, but I started Educated by Tara Westover since you recommended it a while back and I’m enjoying it! xx
Thank you for this video. I needed reminders of gratitude of where we are but has been challenging to be grateful when there is so much sadness and hopelessness in the world/online. I have deleted social media apps off my phone which has helped this month.
Started reading The Coast Road by Alan Murrin after you mentioned it in your last vlog and the characters are amazingly written! I'm from the North and sayings are spot on lol
How do you stay productive with reading/finding the time to get through so many books? also, how do you switch between fiction and nonfiction (I can never read nonfiction before bed!)
heyyy I would love love to have more info on how you are investing the euro a week in renewable energy... is it a website or where can I find more info please and thank you xx
The giggle after she said conference🥹🥹🥹

You’ve built such a beautiful life! As someone who has been watching since before you had B, I feel so inspired to witness your growth. ❤

Ways I help with anxiety/feelings of anxiousness: morning brain dump (write out 3 pages of whatever comes to mind), and I go on hikes in nature.
