Another good idea to save for formula is to buy Walmart gift cards. They never expire and if you don't need more formula one day, then you can use them for other stuff!
@@jayziekim not exactly saving money per say, more like saving up for baby's arrival and need. Some ppl may find gift cards easier to hold onto than cash. Most gift cards never expire, and family and friends would probably be more willing to gift than cash as well.
For the Walmart one I had to sign up for the box. Which I just figured out today! I’m glad they just sent you one! Oh and my target is always sold out of them in store I’ve been calling for a couple months haha prob best to get it from online.
Oh good to know! I guess maybe they added separate registration? Either way, you don’t get any kind of confirmation or shipping, it just shows up a month or two later lol. And yes, def worth the $.05 to just get the Target one shipped!
Hi thank you for the great video I am going to be a grandmother (first grandchild) I am so excited and I was just wondering where I can get free stuff I am disabled and am not working at the moment ....the baby is due beginning of September . These baby registries are only for the moms to be huh ? so i'm trying to accumulate clothes etc . any advice will help .Thanks
Wow, congratulations on becoming a grandmother! You must be so excited! While these registries and gift bags are supposed for moms to be, technically, I believe anyone who starts a registry can get the gift bags. For Target and Walmart specifically, the process is super easy and doesn’t require you to buy anything. BuyBuyBaby also doesn’t require you to buy anything, but you do have to go in person to get the gift bag so they may not give it to you at the discretion of staff. Amazon and Babylist do require you to spend some money, but again, they don’t check if you’re a mom to be or not and you can get the gift bags as long as you’ve completed the requirements. As for clothes and other things, try Facebook Marketplace and local group pages, NextDoor, and other similar apps like OfferUp, etc. There are often great deals including a few dollars for a huge bag or box of clothes, and even free clothes at times. Since babies grow so fast, even used clothing is barely used and sometimes basically brand new. I got a few boxes of hand me down clothes from my sister in law and more than half had never been worn. Hope this helps! Congrats again!
Thanks for the video! Currently 14 weeks 2 days and already trying to start my registries 🙂
Congratulations!! That’s so exciting! Never too early to start window shopping 😉

Interesting take! Can you explain how you save money by buying gift cards?

Wow! You’ve gotten some nice things! My bags had completely different items and not as much goodies!
Aw that sucks! I have heard the items rotate based on availability. Hopefully you at least got some useful items!
Man my Babylist box came with half of the stuff that you got 😭😭
Aw I’m sorry to hear that! Definitely try the other boxes if you haven’t already. They’re generally easier to get and more worth it!
