MOS you are quite right this has been one of the best annual releases from Airfix for some time. Personally I will get the Jaguar of course, which is SCREAMING to be built inflight, so I hope to make the parts to convert it from its "everything posed down" out of the box condition. Heard a rumour it may have seated pilots as well which would make that a lot easier! Cheers, Chris
Did you see my comment on Facebook? they had to make a choice hence its not designed in flight. Thanks for commenting my friend, if you want me to order you one and ship it down under quicker let me know :)
The only kit that interested me was definitely the Alvis Stalwart, 1 tonne Land rover and maybe the Westland Wessex and maybe some of the Vintage Classics as for another spitfire really not
I have ordered the space shuttle Saturn v Artemis stalwart 1/48 jaguar spitfire tr9 gannet puma lynx wessex refueller raf figures general service truck victor
top of the list for me is the late variant Chinook. The Chinook is for me what the Bearcat is for you. After that, the He-111 H-6 with new scheme, the Vintage Classic Sopwith Pup, and the British Army 4-ton truck.
Ordered the Lysander when it was announced. Have just ordered the Spitfire Mk IXe, Spifire Tr IX. Spitfire Mk XIX and the Mustang IV / P51-K. There are a few others that I’d like but they will have to wait for now.
I for one will definitely be getting the Artemis, as you say , space subjects are much neglected by model companies and yet the price of out of production kits is eyewatering, so the demand is there. The Stalwart and the Ferret are also on my list.
Hi MOS, I've just subscribed to your channel! Really happy about Airfix's decision to release Space Models, including the new tool Artemis. Unfortunately I don't pre-order any of Airfix's releases for the simple reason that I live in France and the shipping and Import Duty costs post-Brexit are just too expensive. So what I do is buy locally as soon as the French dealer's receive the new Airfix stock, which is typically a few Euros lower in price than Airfix's website price. Don't ask me why.... I'm into Real Space models in a big way as well as space Sci-fi and military aircraft in general. Such a shame that Horizon Models in Australia closed their doors late last year. They had some superb, highly detailed 1950s and 1960s Mercury, Titan and Atlas kits that I completed. Came runner-up in one of their annual competitions. Still got a huge Revell Space Shuttle launch complex in my stash...Lord knows where I am going to find the space to put it when I get around to building it LOL!
As Dale mention, doing a Launch Tower for the Artemis would be to expensive. But if you get a undamaged box, you can use the box art as a Back Drop for the Artemis. Renewed my membership and order the Lysander, Stalwart and the 3 1/72 boats. Shame there was no re-release of any new mould 1/24 Hellcat and Typhoon's, now selling for silly buggers money!
Lysander, Artemis, Wessex and Stalwart for me. I'll add the Space Shuttle if I can find a gap. I skipped on the Jaguar, I will get one at some point but I built the 1994 version last year and am still recovering from the experience 🙂
Left the Wessex as I can not believe it won't get released by the end of the year in 1.48. Was it the HC.4 in 1.72, then quickly to 1.48. Ordered Jag, Victor, albion, E-boat, and 2 seat Spitfire.
Shame that Airfix didn't include the launch gantry with the Artemis. They are only including a simple base with the Artemis kit, like their early Saturn V. If they had added 20 quid to the price they could have produced a really nice launch complex. Hopefully aftermarket companies will produce something in resin or photo-etch
No Saturn V Mos? I thought it was an excellent release announcement, lots to like. I would have been happy with the Jag alone but there are many more there I will buy. Will they ever re-release the operation Herrick kits I wonder? They go for stupid money on Ebay.
Just joined the airfix club for the first time. I wanted to preorder a few but didn't as they are wanting postage for every single kit, even ones that'll be released at the same time are individually charged. Is that right? If so I may as well do bundles when they are actually in stock to save some money. First for me was the artemis. Absolutely love it! This I've preordered. I hope they do more like this. I'd like to see the gemini capsules. The rest that I'll wait for are the wessex(so much detail!) & my love of the more unusual so the 3 point fueller, clipper, Hudson & land rover.
That 3 point fueller... i didnt even know they did it.. but its deffo one i want to build Thank you @quiddity1977 for leaving a comment. Please subscribe if you haven't as yet.. It really helps the channel grow.
No order for me so far, or I'll get kicked out. It's too bad that no-one made the Russian Rocket N1, it would be cool to display next to Saturn V, at same scale. The way the world is going, it's not going to happen anytime soon, unless perhaps Zvezda decide to produce it (with 2025 technology that would be a great kit). I'm really tempted by the Westland Wessex HC2, 1/72 is the right scale for me as 1/48 are shelf hogs, plus this one has fold-able blades, I'm going to try to negotiate this one 😊

I have ordered the Lysander, Wessex, Albion refueller, General service Truck, 1/48 Jaguar and Artemis.
I had an guess you would buy the refuller and the artemis :)
I like the Wessex. As a child of the 60s, I want to build the Apollo Rocket too.
Artemis and 1/48 Jaguar so far, but there will be more. Great launch stream BTW Mos, really enjoyed the gang's commentary. Cheers.
Stalwart my highlight.

My stash is big enough, but the space ones do look fun to build.

that stalwart looks great
can't wait to finally get my hands on the b314 clipper.

The highlight for me Mos is the 1/144th SLS Artemis!
also 2nd is the 62nd wessex and Puma!
Lysander , Jag and Wessex ,, looking forward to seeing them in the plastic at Bolton on Sunday
Good selection.. Yes they will be there on sunday :) Thanks for leaving a comment
@ Revell are there also , it’s my home show
Interesting to know what you have pre ordered Mos!
Ordered the Lysander when it was announced. Have just ordered the Spitfire Mk IXe, Spifire Tr IX. Spitfire Mk XIX and the Mustang IV / P51-K. There are a few others that I’d like but they will have to wait for now.
I've gone for the Clipper. I might get the Hudson, but I need to find an old photo of a relative of mine to confirm it's a Hudson he's flying.
Ordered Artemis.

Not pre ordered yet, but I am interested in the Wessex, The Blenheim IF, the boats, and the Saturn V.
HI MOS, I've pre ordered the Jaguar, Wessex, TR9, Eindecker and the Clipper
Good choice! let me know how you get on with the Eindecker.. I have one in my stash but always afraid of building it lol
@@MOS6510Modelsdepends when I get it and where I am in this year's build plan, might do it on the members stream on a Thursday

I have gone for the 1/76 scale Land Rover and Bedford truck.

got a pleasant surprise earlier: renewed my Airfix Club membership, and only paid £31.50 as they applied the Club discount to it.

Did order the Vosper though and thinking about the Bedford
Left the Wessex as I can not believe it won't get released by the end of the year in 1.48. Was it the HC.4 in 1.72, then quickly to 1.48. Ordered Jag, Victor, albion, E-boat, and 2 seat Spitfire.

Spitfire TR 9
Boulton Paul Defiant

@@MOS6510Models I have subscribed to yours & several of the gangs about a year ago, hence why my stash is 116 & growing! 😂
@@markfisher7434 yeah that's why I'm leaving the artemis on preorder. Just a shame you can't bundle say the summer releases into one package

Fokker eindecker and m.t.b vosper
No offence but who cares what you ordered? You must be on a commission. Too sad for the hobby.
