    I found my touring partner.
Signs for me is that we must have similar riding style, or one must be skilled enough that the rider is adaptive to different riding style.
I am adaptive to many sort of riding style, but personally I prefer riding faster, more aggressively while watching for my safety as per my skillsets allows, and I found a touring partner that is slightly less aggressively, but watches more of our safety. we both travelled far and wide comfortably with each other as we know we both have each other's back. She leads, I Sweep. She road plan, I watch out for tailgaters and the sort.
I have tried bringing in friends who are slower, I saw and realised how big of a gap their skillset was and the dynamic of the group was not balanced, one was fast and make the bend quickly, while the other rider was not confident and slows down too much in a bend. So the convoy gets stretches out alot, despite being understanding and slows down each time, we can barely make it to the places we had in mind on schedule.
So I think riding style must be atleast somewhat similar too, so no one will feel like they are a burden and are slowing down the convoy, and vice versa.
