I really do believe cartman actually felt just a little sad that kenny was gone but in typical cartman fashion once he found out what else stem cells could be used for he got sidetracked

The joke is that they've killed Kenny off so many times and in such casual flippant ways that now when they get all dramatic about it it's impossible to take it seriously. So now they've got us laughing at the opposite end of the drama spectrum and I love the sad piano playing in the background, really sells it! 😆
Just throwing this out there. You have to respect how cartman never stops until he gets what he wants and how smart he is It just so happens that he’s a awful human being. If he wanted to he could take over the world but his plans crumble because he gets angry or wants to humiliate Kyle
So as I’m sure you’ve heard. Kenny remains dead from this point throughout season 6. That was when the show really turned the spotlight on Butters and Tweek as they become the 4th friend throughout season 6. The Kenny saga continues in episodes 612-615 & 617. Didn’t say anything about what any of them were about. Besides, if you haven’t noticed he’s not watching them in order, so what I mentioned was probably gonna go unnoticed, as he watches the rest of season 6 periodically and out of order, anyway! edit: ok so he’s only watched a couple episodes from season 6, but he would still see what I mentioned in the first 30 seconds of the first episode of season 6. (If he were watching them in order.)

That's like in _Babe_ where... well, I don't want to spoil it, but a certain character dies about 4/5ths of the way into the movie, and their last words are, "I don't reckon," in response to Babe, the young pig, asking if they can get up, and... jeez, that scene is so gut-wrenching to watch, practically on par with the death of Littlefoot's mom.
I get emotional at the end of Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics (S3E15). It was the last episode to feature the voice of Mary Kay Bergman (the original female character voice) after her passing and there's a montage during the last song where they show all her characters together. When you watch it with that context it hits hard.
What's great about this episode is that it imitates the tropes and emotional manipulation used by successful tearjerker movies so well that I've seen it bring some TH-camrs to the verge of tears even though they know that it's parody.

also you should deffo react to the movie. theres a lot of musical numbers in it so could be hard to edit, but the movie came out after season 3 i believe, so very early on.
So sad stem cell research got banned, could save many lives.. but we are so preoccupied about things we dont understand.. its not a baby.. its a biological process..
this episode was such a big deal when it first aired, no one knew at the time if kenny would actually return or not so it ended up being this big event for fans
