The terms of the Treaty were changed for Ireland, to include legal guarantees, and we got to vote again on the new wording. That time the referendum passed. Democracy is no guarantee that you get what you want, just that you get your say, which we did.

I'm very disappointed with sinn Fein because they want to position themselves as the main opposition but they also never take a stance on literally any issue so most people don't know what they are really voting for, that's why I went labour #1 because the sinn Fein TD in my constituency didn't want healthcare to be high on the priority list and healthcare is my #1 issue
