David is too underrated. Honestly I’m surprised he doesn’t have over 1mill subscribers ( love your lessons )
I love your perception in painting for the elegant and detailed tutorials . Thank you for your videos and for being out there .❤
You are so welcome!
I can never get enough of your lessons David!! Love this so much!! I had a thought while watching the beginning of this lesson. Would be really cool to see how you’d paint a rose like this using just the 2” brush! I bet that would be really fun! Thanks again for everything you and your family do for us!!
Largest I have used in a 1 inch. Might be a great challenge this winter. Maybe 2 inch and fingers! LOL.
@@JansenArtEducation that would be super fun 🤩
Matthew are you on the mewe group ?
He is a member. I answered your other question with a link.
@@JansenArtEducation thank you, I've been trying to connect with the Heritage community.
Enjoyed this painting; I would like to see you painting the painting that is in this background.

I’m a big fan of your sir. Leaned a lot from your videos and tried a few too. The outcome is awesome. Thanks a lot. Love from India 🙏🇮🇳
Thank you so much!
David, thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I am always gaining more knowledge on techniques and perspectives. 😊
I love your work and your videos, I have been watching the videos for some time and my art improved a lot! Even digitally I managed to translate your style to digital paint and the flowers looked wonderful as if they were painted on canvas .. so thanks a lot for being such a valuable artist and a human being 🌺
Stunning paintings!
You are incredibly talented. You paint in the impressionistic style I love!
Thank you so much 😀
Absolutely gorgeous
Really beautiful!! 🌺Thankyou David
Hola david, te sigo desde que empezaste con el canal y ya eres alguien como de mi familia , eres un pintor por excelencia.abrazo grande desde argentina .
Love your videos. Thank you for all you give.
The photos of your paintings are so good and professional. Do you happen to have any hints on how to photograph our finished paintings?
I made a video about that a few years ago. Let me see if we can find it and upload it.
I haven't located that video. Have you?
How to avoid losing chroma when we mix colors? Is it better to limit mixing to specific colors we want to produce and just buy the rest? Thank you!
Ps, you’re my favorite teacher I ever came across 🙏🏻
Always start with the highest grade artitst quality colors you can. Artist quality colors are rated by how much pigment is actually in the colors. Then start with the brightest colors or most intense as possible. Mix down to make the various tones. You get more overall harmony to the colors when you start with the most intense and mix down. Poor quality acrylics become muddy when you start to mix because they don't have very much pigment.
Thank you so much🙏🏻
Sometimes I wonder why mixing colors is important? I try to limit it unless I want to produce a specific color and just buy the color I want to preserve the intensity! But I’m learning more from you as I keep watching your valuable videos thank you!
YOU’VE RUINED IT FOR ME. I can’t watch anyone else paint flowers, they’re boring. Watching you is fun, relaxing and so informative. Thank you for teaching us how to create a beautiful painting.
Hi David, thank you so much for teaching and sharing. Just wondering is the Medium White color more similar to Ivory or Cream white ? It’s so hard to find out the Medium white in our local store. Thank you!
❤
Looking to buy prep medium, where do I find it? Enjoyed this painting!
I'm sharing your TH-cam information! But whwere is your list of paint colors? I joined your $2.99 a month
Thank you! There is a list with links in each video description.
