Recently I was using both Google and Bing, to compare satellite views of a new housing development. Ironically, I found Bing's Bird's Eye version was more up to date than Google's 3D satellite view. Now if I am looking at newly built areas, I check both because Google is behind.
Before I switched to Edge I never tried Bing and always thought it was trash because of the internet, but when I switched to edge I started using bing sidebar search, and maybe it isn't that bad after all.... but I still use Google as my main search engine.

If you are really serious about your search results It's probably best to use a wide diversity of search engines . I use Bing by default in Edge and can see no disadvantage. Some searches do appear biased . Also It took a while for Bing A.I. to understand that I was not going to be buying stuff through Bing and that I would just delete any fluff they thought I might get hooked on. It now works pretty neutrally. Bing probably just uses Google stuff anyway so . I've got Google there at the ready to launch If Bing starts to get uppity in a Microsoft kind of way and If Microsoft gets really weird (you never know with them even though Gates isn't so hands on anymore) , I'll just go all linux .
Bing is not bad and has gotten a lot better. But it's not going to be able to compete with Google till Google is broken up and regulated. Google and "googling" is just a big part of the culture. Google just has more data points, more telemetry, which is a huge part of search that most people are unaware of. This is why you have to know how to deactivate Windows' privacy stealing features. Otherwise, they have an incredible amount of your personal data. Considering that most users will not both to touch the privacy features, this is a tremendous amount of data for Windows. And much of this info goes to Bing. From an aesthetic perspective, Bing searches certainly look nicer and more organized, but it just lacks the deep search capability of Google.
The funny thing is that bing is one of the most used search engines in the world on the fact it's the default search engine in Windows 10 and most people don't even bother changing that. 🤣
Bing is weird, when it came up first, was a truly and original Microsoft Product, but now it feels like it is just a copy cat of Google, i tried several times to leave Google, but i just can't, Google still more accurate and has quick definitions what are very useful, no talking about Google Academics.

MSFS 2020 ground textures are based on Bing. And for X-Plane I also use Bing, as Google is not that beautiful.

@@nic5973 DuckDuckGo uses the bing search algorithm, try Startpage, it uses Google search algorithm.
