U can tell they were very close friends with his showbiz love team for a very long time. Magaling talaga silang sumayaw magloveteam pang Hollywood ang dating gaya nila Ginger Rogers at Fred Astaire noon 1950s era sa Hollywood scene.

Nestor de Villa was one of my late grandfather's childhood friends from Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija! My Papa used to call him simply by his real name "Gines". They were neighbours and they lived near Plaza Lucero and the Cabanatuan Cathedral where Heneral Luna was killed.

I was born in the Generation Z era and I do love watching old, monochrome movies, especially from LVN Pictures. My favorite movie starring the Nida-Nestor love team is "WARAY-WARAY" (1954). I also seen the 1994 episode of ABS-CBN's longest running drama anthology program (also Asia's longest) "MAALAALA MO KAYA" titled "DANCING SHOES".
