Great review! Carter is not insane. Talking to the deceased out loud and mimicking your usual day is pretty common. It's a form of grief and not crazy at all. It's actually a way of him trying to hold on to his sanity and keeping some sort of normality into his day just as he always did in the past before wife was murdered. Now whether Carter loses control and becomes unhinged later on is another story. Next, I truly thought Drew was behind that entire set up.
