I've completely transformed my Mega V1 to a 3S. Steel slipper from the 4S, 37T diffs, composite CVDs, etc. It's a beast. One of my all time favorite trucks to work on.
Its official ! Arrma officially beats Traxxas's ass ! Not that it didn't before but now that arrma offers a 350 dollar 4wd that does 53mph on 3s there's no competition 👍 thanks Jay !
Mt10 is more adjustable and has centre diff and swaybars and is cheaper. Slower but more tuneable in my opinion. And you can make it just as fast with a bit of an upgrade.

It honestly depends on what you want. The rustler will be more for customization and is a whole lot lighter than the arrma granite. But, the arrma granite has way bigger tires and can get over a lot more. The batteries last a lot longer and the rustler than the granite, but the granite has a better battery fit. There are no upgrades/ customizations you can do for the granite( that I know of) but for the price you can’t beat it. I would recommend the rustler personally, but the granite is a very nice truck.
Bro the rustler doesn’t even have a center differential, or fans on the esc and motor, and it’s more expensive by $80. The new arrmas have fans on both the esc and motor. You’d be wasting your money on the rustler now that arrma has made renovations. Trust me I own 5 traxxas cars and have had to mod em all to get em where I want em. For $320 this car is what I want right out the box. Rustler with center diff and fan on the esc(bc there’s not even enough room on the rustler to put a fan on the motor) will cost you about $450 pretax, and the motor will get hot still.
I wanna get one of these and get the new wider big rock arms and links for it put a wing on and make a 10th scale 2.2 truggy 🤔🤔🤔 I’m sure there’s a way to mount the 3s typhon or outcast 4s wing

you have no heating issues? I returned the previous version 2 months ago, as after this kind of long runs, the truck was slowing down to dead, only on -off reset could put it back to full speed. I might get this version, can you please test with this kind of high speed runs on flat for 5-6 minutes continuously? Thanks

Paul Clancy aye I mean the stock stuff on V2 was ok for a beginner they prob wouldn’t notice but for someone playing with RCs for years the delay in the remote is ehhhh and the servo is ehhhh getting ready to upgrade both of mine currently in my v2 🙃. Just be nice not to straight out of box tho hopefully they fixed them..
Paul Clancy only reason I like it is for my kids as well I let them on 50 75% and they love it but yeah I really hate it lol I can still do tricks flips ect but it’s hard with the delay.. arrma actually listens to the people though and fixes or try’s to fix there mistakes 🤑 so they got my money lol
I've has this and a typhon for about a year now, and can honestly say I rarely have the throttle higher than 50%, and NEVER have it on 100% coz it's too damn fast

I like traxxas but you get your money worth with Armma for sure. Was thinking about getting a Maxx but I might just get this.
