日本企業のリバーフィールド社が国内開発
「Saroa」の操作感は、空気圧駆動により軽くて扱いやすく、タッチが柔らかい印象。外科医の素手の感覚に近い手術が可能。臓器の触感を術者へフィードバックし、損傷のリスクを軽減することが期待できる。機体はコンパクトで軽量。ロボットアーム同士はお互い干渉しづらい。日本の狭い手術室に最適。

The “Saroa” is a pneumatically controlled surgical support robot developed by Riverfield. The pneumatic drive of Saroa makes it light and easy to handle, with a soft touch. The operation is close to the feeling of a surgeon's bare hands. It is expected to reduce the risk of damage by feeding back the tactile sensation of the organ to the surgeon. The machine is compact and lightweight. The robotic arms do not interfere with each other.
