LANZAROTE VLOG - Our first Family Villa Holiday in PLAYA BLANCA | Canary Islands

- Today Savilles' Travels take you to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands for an Easter Holiday break with the whole family.
We stayed in Playa Blanca in the south of Lanzarote about 30 minutes drive from the airport.

We booked through Optima Villas and stayed in Casa Piscina Villa (4 bed, 3 bath) and were so happy with the layout, size and amenities. It suited our large family and provided a fantastic base to explore Playa Blanca. It was clean, spacious and the outside area was brilliant for relaxing by the pool and al fresco dining. Having a Pool Table and Table Tennis were great extras for entertainment.
The Villa check-in process was very easy at the airport and we were given a key code to access the keys for the villa. The villa is also alarmed for security which was great for peace of mind.
The location of the villa worked for us as Taxis are cheap and easy to order so we could get about easily this way. The Waterpark (AquaLava) was around a 25 Minute Walk and 45-60 Minutes to the local beaches and a bit further to reach the Marina. We chose to walk a few times but got taxis for speed and ease for the rest of the holiday
We used 24 HORAS NORTE & SUR TAXI LANZAROTE - +34 928 524 222
They arrived promptly to collect us and taxis cost between 3.50 - 6 euros for everywhere we visited
We used firstminute-transfer.com for our taxi to and from the airport. The vehicle was very nice and the driver helpful with the luggage. I chose this company as they had a mini bus large enough for us all which was cheaper than getting 2 standard taxis. This cost 135 euros return

Hi, I’m jealous! You’ll have a fantastic time and the weather should be lovely. Arh thanks… I tried so many and when I found this I won’t use anything else. It’s the YSL luxurious mascara for false lash effect - waterproof. I’ve tried the standard one and it’s not the same. I curl my lashes first and this doesn’t weigh them down it holds them in place so I recommend the waterproof version. Enjoy your holiday x

Brilliant video. ( av not been to Lanzarote before ) but am hoping to go their in mid August for 2 weeks. Am trying to book a hotel in Puerto. And ahl certainly head for a day or 2 in Playa Blanca. Your video has shown me the area. And the nice places to eat. Once again thank you. ( looks like you and your Family had a good holiday.👍👍

I booked the Villa with Optima Villas and their service was great. Even gave us a free late check out. It was in Las BuganVillas, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

Yes it was my first time and loved it. I didn’t expect the beaches to be as nice or the water as crystal clear. It’s so clean everywhere and has a nice balance of cheaper and more expensive restaurants, typical tourist shops but also some nicer ones. So much to do, I’d recommend
you can get the feryr from playa blanca to the other island
Hi, yes you can go over to Fuerteventura (I believe it’s around 19 euros from a Facebook post I read)
You seem to like the marina, I have a villa within a minutes walk to it that I rent out if you are interested
Yes it was lovely. Ooh nice to have a villa there. I tend to travel to different places so I appreciate your offer but I currently have lots of trips arranged
How far are these villas from the beach and sea? And do you mind saying how much you paid ? X
Hi, the villa was around 5 minutes in a taxi to the beach and cost between 3-4 euros depending on which one we visited. You can take a stroll down in around 40 minutes. Waterpark was a 20 minute walk away.
We paid £1539 which was shared between 8 of us so £192 per person. That was in the school holidays 11-18th April

Hi, The Waterpark was called Aqua Lava and is heated. I could go in the wave pool, lacy river and on the slides as was warm enough to get in. I’m a wimp if it’s cold!
The bay beach? That’s Flamingo beach. The one with the dirt track walk and steep hill is Plays Papagayo

Do you need a card for the cash and carry?
@@johnfoy4894 hi, no we didn’t. You pay a very slightly higher price without the membership but it’s pennies and still so cheap in comparison to anywhere else
@@collette165 it was 16 euros per adult instead of 23 euros after 2pm. We found that 3hrs was perfect for us as it closed at 5pm
