Thank you so much, this video helped me in fixing my washing machine (I had the same problem as you)! It saved us a lot of money and I did something I didn't know I could 😁
This was very helpful thanks! Spent the whole day trying to figure things out myself. The water rubber seal at the top was a nightmare to reassemble. Al because my wife told me "a piece of cosmetics" fell into it. You immediately assume its something that would cause the machine to jam. In the end it was just a cotton face swipe. Had the whole machine upside down to get it out. Then the nightmare started. One of the springs came lose and the whole thing was unstable because of this at high rotations.
Thanks for the video! Would've been nice to include the part where you actually take it apart before replacing stuff. It's more clear to watch something than to try and figure out what is said. Nevertheless, good video!
Thanks - I agree on seeing rather than hearing. Unfortunately, it took several days of messing about to reach that point, and that's when I decided to make the video. Thanks for the encouragement!
Really great job and thanks for helpful video. Just a thing I was wondering about, is second time I must change that spare part and today unmounting all I noticed that the cover's springs (terminal parts) could be too much bent over. I think originally the cover springs had 90 degrees inclination and that could be reason why that piece has broken. Cover goes too much back and should stop on a small plastic tooth on pin housings but plastic is not strong enough to keep that force . 😅 maybe I am wrong but if I am rite I wish could be helpful to someone. Thanks again for video 😊 .
Have you taken apart the top cover itself? how to change the springs on it? how to change the handle-lock? I twist it and turn it, I can’t make it out) any ideas?
Ah, yes, I've seen this too, but if I remmeber correctly, it meant extracting it, not separating the lid, but I could be wrong. This is actually the issue that started everything - a friend had dropped or forced the lid which broke the clasp. Finding a machine for parts was a God-sent gift.
Sorry @ttvnlrider, I guess you discovered that you couldn't open it? This was our initial problem - the broken clip - and we found that we had to replace the entire lid. How did you solve yours?
You the spare parts order?
Hi! A little late on this, sorry. I managed to find someone selling a machine that was no longer working. Finding parts was a mission, and they were very expensive. I hope you managed! If you did, please share where you fond them for anyone still looking.
Unfortunately, I couldn't locate all the parts I wanted, so I found someone fortuously selling a non-working machine and I stripped it for parts. I hope you managed to find what you needed!
The Candy OEM part number is 43013198. Stick it in the google search and You should be good. This frame was used on many Candy and Hoover machines so the compatibility list is really long...
Mine too i am planning to try with vinegar and sandpaper i think that will work but not sure yet, i think it depends on how corroded they are, remember to wipe the vinegar properly if u try, maybe i get back and write my result of i remember
Sadly, I don't think so, and it seems that they can't be replaced without replacing the lid altogether. Did you find a solution, @peavy13 or @user-zf9ei3gv5b?

Thanks @judojudoka2731! I'm sure by now you found a solution...based on what I saw, yes, the whole lid has to be replaced...
Have you taken apart the top cover itself? how to change the springs on it? how to change the handle-lock? I twist it and turn it, I can’t make it out) any ideas?
@Bergomoldo I'm afraid that it seems the lid cannot be disassembled and needs to be replaced in its entirety. Did you find another solution, perhaps?
@@consultcuan no, I didn't find it... the springs haven't rotted yet... I left it as is
@@consultcuan I saw that they sell a handle and a hook for it...that means it can be taken apart )))

Do you know what kind of screws are used to install the inner piece? I mean screws you are talking about at 3:48?
I believe they were aluminium philips head screws. I hope you managed your repair!
Anyone got any tips on removing the hoses on the back for cleaning?
do you have one from the top lid as well? need to install a new door hook, but i dont know how to get it open xD
Sorry @ttvnlrider, I guess you discovered that you couldn't open it? This was our initial problem - the broken clip - and we found that we had to replace the entire lid. How did you solve yours?
@@consultcuan it went to the dump and got a new machine now sadly 😂

Hi @jenniferkoljanin5736, sorry I did't see this in time. How did you solve the problem?
comme par hasard le seul truc intéressant ou ça parle d'un Candy Top....c en anglais
C’est clair
Lack of video editing, too much talk for too few action - if this was YT back in the late '10s I'd give it 3/5 stars.
