ECOWAS must immediately ask the french to allow Niger's oil to go through their territory of Benin. If this is not allowed, then the AES will have no choice but to seek alternatives that would not be beneficial to France's territory of Benin.

ECOWAS must learn to work with the AES as an independent federation bloc of countries. Or, individual ECOWAS countries must join them as it currently stands to serve their colonial masters more than their citizens' needs. AES is the new organic African organisation.
