  • During their Welcome Week, the Spring ICS students began their adventure at Plaza de España, soaking in its architectural beauty and historical significance. They then toured the University of Seville, marveling at its impressive campus and vibrant academic atmosphere. They explored the exterior of the majestic Seville Cathedral, admiring its stunning architecture and rich cultural heritage. Moving on, they ventured into the historic Triana neighborhood, discovering its traditional charm and lively streets. In the evening, they were treated to an authentic flamenco show, experiencing the passion and intensity of this iconic Spanish dance. To satisfy their sweet cravings, they also indulged in delicious churros and chocolate at a local café. Finally, they ended their Welcome Week with a relaxing river cruise down the Guadalquivir River, taking in the city's beauty as the sun set on their memorable week of exploration.

Nice work, ICS! As an alumnus of the program when it was associated with the College Consortium for International Studies (Fall 1988 group), I take a keen interest in the goings-on in Sevilla. As sevillanos often say, "Que guay!"
