Ideas for improvement: Calculate the arithmetic mean for rev./ebitda/nopat/fcf (over 10-15 years - maybe 15 because the gfc was already 13/14 years ago). Then show the "adjusted" multiples the companies trade at. That would be more prudent than using the current multiples because due to high commodity prices revenues are at a cyclical top. When to buy: I think it's best to buy these when commodity prices are down and the companies suffer. Then just hold and collect the dividends. But just my 2 cents. Another interesting company: Speaking about monster FCF: I suggest taking a look at Petrobras. Wish you all the best with your thriving business! Chris
Love your content, especially this video on mining stocks. How about sharing your take on Fuse Minerals next? I'm sure it'd be as good as your other picks
For an American holding BHP or RIO in a taxable me account, hour would the dividends be taxes? As Qualified income like say a dividend from JNJ, or something different since these are foreign companies?
Great video My problem with fundamental analysis is that you have no idea of the future revenue stream of thé company in the case of mining companies china is the main buyer and the chinese want to buy their iron ore from africa and ditch the australien miners altogether A fact you will not find in the accounting statements of thèse companies Half the battle is analysing statements and the rest is looking into the future Great video
Great video!! Thank you!! Looking to rotate some money from crypto to a few devalued markets. Planning on T B and chill. I want to time my enteries. Do you think that is a good idea or should i keep some ammo ready for a few markets now?
In my mid 30s I am just now getting into investing in stocks. It just sucks that the baby boomers have received exponential capitalization on their portfolios and we are just waiting for it to take a dip to maybe afford to buy one share of a company that they probably bought for single digit numbers which is now grown over 300%.
I really enjoyed your breakdown on miners. It was truly epic 👍🏼🙏🏽🙌🏼. Can you someday give us a view and analysis on uranium miners? Do you like uranium? Please see the following company URG. Thank you. Your content is of high quality.
Great video but surprised Nucor (NUE) didn’t make the list. Amazing company! Pristine balance sheet! Excellent management! Pays a nice dividend. Would love to see you review NUE! Thanks.
thx for the clip i have to put dislike due to the long ad + no mention of Nickle. Alcoa is different than the other 3 in term of business and stability
Sad to hear no mention at all of the environmental impact of these companies. From what I've read BHP does more than Rio Tinto for example. Don't you think this should be part of the decision which company to invest in?
@@bartdevries8531 You might be better off not investing at all in that case, every corporation harms the environment and exploits workers so your high standards may not be cut out for investing

I'd say some of my favourite videos are when you cover commodity related stocks, I learn a lot from them! Thanks Cameron!

Does PBR pay consistent dividend?
Good analysis ! Commodities are back in favor. I was hoping to see Vale SA in this list.

Hi Cameron, thanks for the good content! just curious what charting tool do you use on this presentation? or you made it yourself. Thank you
BHP (iron), Freeport McMoran (copper), Alcoa (aluminum) and where is the nickel stock?
Would that be RIO?
true. But I can't cover them all.
@@CstewartCFA why is in the name of the video then ?
I own BTG near 5% quarterly divi & sound financials
thanks for doing this!
Rio Tinto seemed to be the winner to me.
I'd love to see this style of comparison videos more. Maybe some REITs.

Big fan of your videos. Thanks.
Very thorough analysis. Very professional.

Mining stocks are usually cyclical. Does low EV / EBITDA means profits have peaked?
not sure. the fed printing has distorted markets for so long.

Hello Cameron, I like your content a lot and wanted to request a review of Realty income. :-)
Cameron is talking about commodity businesses. The bottom is in, Boys
Excellent review.
So funny, I found BHP group months and months ago, took a really small position, but I was suspecting that you'd cover it.

Was hoping for VALE. 🤔
Same
a real pro.
SCCO vs FCX would be good to see comparison
true. Good Co's
btw….for the record BHP has > $13B of LT Debt

Good call!

Nue is not a mining co. They are a end users of the minerals. China is by far the biggest end user of Iron ore.
Largest mining companies in the world; not intersting, we want undervalued small caps
RIO tinto for me pls.
FXPO (Iron) 🧐

I can't talk about everything, this channel is about finance.
@@CstewartCFA That’s a very dissapointing answer. Too many in the financial world seem to have any notion of morals. Sad to see you’re one of them.

I go to SNHU! I don’t take finance here because you don’t a degree to understand finance when information is available online for free.
