228: Era Terra Patagotitan (by Ademar Pereira Do Nascimento) Review

17 years ago, I had an impossible dream.
A dream that went from a 1:40 scale of the biggest dinosaur of them all, the Argentinosaurus, to an even greedier 1:35. Well obviously, that was a dream that would never be fulfilled… until now.
This is the Era Terra 1:35 Patagotitan, a very strong contender for title of biggest sauropod ever. While Argentinosaurus still wins in certain measurements, Patagotitan is even ‘better’ in the sense that it is known from far more complete remains. So in a very real sense, this huge model has fulfilled that dream.
There’s just so much to say about this model, that it would be best to just watch the video. Know however that the detail, the background research, the paint application, and the 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘 make it something I can’t keep off my already cramped and crowded table. Needless to say, there’s planty to show about this model, as well as to say about the science! So this is going to be one long video.
But if you’ve ever fantasized… hoped for… dreamt of a 1:35 scale model of the biggest titanosaur ever, this is one you have to consider!
