He was a brown-eyed blond, dolled up in a suit of black, accessorised with a red tie, and a red trim on his top hat. "Your Majesty," he had asked; "Shall we have this dance?" The Queen accepted Edward's dance, since she knew no one would bother to dance with her, as they'd only dance based off her authority. So the pair danced the hours away, with every noble captivated by the two's Viennese waltz. When the clock striked 10, Edward politely excused himself to go to the loo. Staring at his own reflection, he cackled, thinking; "Everything's going perfectly. Now, I can get them to respect me. Not that stuck-up "Queen", Mary-Anne. Why, she could send a thousand guards to apprehend a small insect, and have the kingdom think nothing of it; and whether the insect is guilty or not she couldn't care less for. She acts because she can.. that woman." Queen Mary-Anne thought to herself; "He's been in there for an awfully long time. I'm sorry if I upset him in any way. I hope Edward is alright, although he's no longer my court jester." But she brushed it off, and carried on with the night. Suddenly, she got stabbed in the back with a dagger. Everyone freaked out, but there wasn't a doctor in sight, as Mary-Anne didn't invite any doctors, thinking her coronation ball would go well. So she died, as no one knew what to do, not wanting to leave the ball. Detectives carried on examining this mysterious case for years, until they figured out who Mary-Anne's assassin was. It was the former court jester, now the King, Edward, in a jet black mask. So Edward was sent to a penal colony, where he was vigorously working.

Gorgeous song, I love relistening to it every now and then! I don't get a jester vibe though, I imagine more of a 19th century ball scene. If I could put words to the images that flash to my brain as I hear this song, it would be a story of romance, mystery, and longing. Like you're dancing on a balcony adjoining a ballroom with a dashing and charming stranger, and before you know it, you've completely fallen for him even though he's from a "rival" family. Idk, something like that lol.
