Nice Christmas Tree for next year. Don’t have to cut it down you could make ornaments for the wild life. Those big open cones you put peanut butter on each one then cover with bird seed and hang. All different food sources. 🎄🕊️
It looks so pretty.. just really cold!🥶I love to see fresh fallen snow before it gets tracked up.. This is typical for February here where we are in Arkansas… Blue is a fair weather goat.. I don’t blame her.. all the little boys have been neutered now except the new babies right? Spruce isn’t excited about roaming around in the snow it seems…we’ve had a coyote grab a chicken in broad daylight with my DIL was sit in a chair and yelled at it.. it was either a young one or an older one that was out like that looking for opportunities to get some food.. maybe sick.. they are getting bolder though..

It was towards dusk last summer and coyote was trying to make its way into the yard. The grandchildren were playing on the swing set, boy she tore into the bar opening barking and growling. My son and daughter in law didn’t know at first why she was being so aggressive, then they saw. They are so thankful she was there. She protected the children.
Blu is always so quiet. Does she ever make a sound? She never is hyper when it’s feed time. Waits so patiently until you put it in the feeder. I’m amazed at her.

Hello Kyle and Shanon I love snow. It changes the shape of the world for a little while. I think that is the storm we had late last week. If you get the second installment - we had between 5-7 inches fall overnight. The roads are clear now. We’ve got about a week before the next system. The goatlets are adorable. Herc is a good boy. Yes, it is Mating season for the coyotes til the end of March & happy to see ya'll took Herc out for a walk on the trail. Leaving his sent is the best thing ya could have done to help keep the coyotes from wondering back up the birds & goats. I know it wasn't planned, but great idea for the walk in the snow. Snow is pretty, but I am so looking forward to SPRING!!! 36 days away :) From Michigan....God Bless Shady Acres

The snow was very pretty clinging to the trees today! I live 30 miles north of Springfield. When I left for a dr’s appointment it had just started snowing. The closer I got to Springfield the more snow there was.
