@@codyhall9215 Every genre that features guitars use riffs lol. That has nothing to do with metal. Their music's main inspiration and main substance is Hardcore mixed with Trap, with elements of nu metal and of course alternative rock. I don't even like using stupid genre terms and branding everything but if you really want to go there then that's what it is. Zilla has even stated himself, if you removed the 808 trap drums, the songs would sound like Hardcore and Nu Metal songs. Zilla was in a punk band before he started City Morgue lol and Sos & Him are big fans of all of those things, especially Punk and Hardcore.
