    It's not true that in office bleaching "gives you only dehydration so maybe 1 shade". We happen to see from 4 to 9 shades difference. However, thanks for webinar.

      Thank you for your comment. We definitely have had different experiences. I have never seen 4-9 shades improvement with "in office" bleaching, not to mention the hypersensitivity and gingival irritation risk associated with it.

    Hello Dr, really good information and seminars. I have one question about the 16 and 22% whitening gel( carbamyde Peroxide). How many hours do the patient have to use the trays of each concentration? Since the 10% is overnight. Thank you very much.

      I primarily use 10% CP and have the patients use it overnight. If I feel that it is prudent for them to use a higher concentration I still have them use it overnight but I make sure they control the amount applied very closely. Hope this helps.

    Beautiful seminar ....
    Thank you Dr...
    I have a question Dr... What about the relapse of the shade? after how many months should the patients start to re apply the bleaching to maintain the color? And concerning the weakening effect of the bleaching on the enamel on the long run specially in cases which take a long time, what is your opinion? Thank you

      Thank you for your kind words, I am glad you enjoyed. Relapse is diferente on every patient and case. Evidence support 1-2 years of stable shade but I have seen up to 5 years. It is important to understand that the teeth may “darken” slightly but never to the point where we started.

    Bleaching always controversial but you reveal the secrets & how home bleaching can do better than we expected
    My question:
    During the home bleaching at 8hr of night using 10% carbamide peroxide can the patient use color beverage like coffee or tea at morning ? Any suggestions about that
    Regard

    Wow that was a phenomenal webinar!!!!! A great thanks to u doc for enlightening us with ur immense knowledge and combined with ur clincical experience
    I learned a lot regarding vital bleaching and now I look back that I hardly knew only little about them as a academic stand of point as I'm being a fresh undergrad
    So I will surely implement, analyse and act through as u guided us doc
    I really express my heartfull thanks to u for teaching us!!!
    And I am now left with 2 queries pls help me through doc?
    1.even carbamide peroxide of 10%is gonna be little caustic to some patients so how did u manage them to heal those did u use any vitamin e gel over the caustic gingiva?
    2.how will u rehydrate them, will u use any topical fluoride application between the treatment s doc?
    And how to deal with hypersentivity post op after treatment??
    3.sorry third one
    The tray used at night won't the gel flow through more gingivally due to the inclined posture of sleeping and won't it going to irritate gingiva for sure!? So often is it better to have those Nick the tray in interdental region and even if done what about the cervical gingiva?
    And the opalescent go had a prefabricated tray will it fit everyone as some have uneven arch 🤔
    I'm really sorry to ask u so much doc
    As I had all these unsolved all the way these days
    Pls help me
    And I thank u once again for giving us a wonderful lesson to be learnt

    Great seminar. Are there postoperative sensitivity in long treatment cases? Can this lead to enamel destruction and pulpits?

    • @romerodentalseminars
      @romerodentalseminars  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For long treatments I would recommend only using 10% CP. Very rare for them to have hypersensitivity but if so, just stop Tx for a couple of days and continue. No irreversible damage to the enamel has ever been reported. Thanks for watching

    • @romerodentalseminars
      @romerodentalseminars  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just tell the patients not to use the bleaching agent for 2-3 days and it goes away.
