I guess the location before and tried to figure out the answer to the question. Luckily though I've never been there I am somewhat familiar with the map. It would probably have been easier if I lived there but oddly enough so would getting your tea. Anyway, I figured it out and ordered the tea right away. I was hoping to try it when you did in a video but didn't get in time.
You can age it by storing it in a space where there are no odours since the leafs will take these in, no direct sunlight and no extreme temperatures, so room temperature around 20°C. You also don't want your air too dry but not too moist as well. The internet says something around 50 to 70 relatove humidity.
I've stored mine in food quality Food Saver bags - I was researching how best to store white teas emphasizing keeping the aromatics & terpene flavors. A lot of tea "experts" said to store in airtight containers as compared to more breathable containers for pu-erhs. The Food Saver bags sealed in minimal vacuum have been working very well for me. I shall see over time. I've stored oolongs in screw top glass containers w/ silicon gaskets for over 30 years now & they are spectacular. So - looking forward to aging Don's whites.
I just spent FOREVER getting the Blue Fractal! I don't want to admit it, but it was kinda worth it... When I found the answer, all I could think was, "Don would...Don would..."

All of the first 5 fractals are available to find but we release clues gradually from now until December. People who have found lots of fractals have been making educated guesses of locations rather than waiting for clue drops. This is all fine and should not stress anyone out because the last clue will be released for everyone on December 19th so. It does not matter if you find all the fractals now or over the next 7 weeks. As long as you have found all 5 fractals before this date you all have a chance of being a winner.

I have tried every name associated with that quote and where is can be found. None of the answers that make sense seem correct. I am stumped. I may just have to give up.

Hey Don, This is a thing I have been wondering about for some time now. Should you store teas separately from other more traditional whites? I've been thinking about this for some time now, and more specifically for my raw pu-erh collection. Some of the taste notes can be wildly different and would it not be better to store region taste profile wise and not just style wise? For example: I've got 3 cakes midsummer (great cake by the way) and I've got some lower quality white cakes for when I'm in the mood for some less complex sessions. Now I'm afraid that the midsummer is going to lose some of its complexity and is going to start tasting like the other low quality ones and the other way around. Could also be an interesting vid maybe.
Thai ia a very interesting topic that is difficult to experiment with unless we dedicate multiple storage methods of multiple cake afir multiple years. My sense is that there will some aroma transfer so it is a good idea to store similar palettes if flavour together. I would not worry about a tea losing complexity but more about picking uncomplementary aromas.

Aging should be really interesting because it is from PuErh tea Trees, so you should also have the aspect of microbiological activity. I don't really know if I can wait so long ;)

Why do white teas have such a strong effect, I tried 5 sofar from fuding, all have a strong effect.

😂 No certainly not but it does happen. They usually wear hair nets when pressing the cakes but you can't stop a rogue hair or two.
